Okay did you know when you over boost a Volvo it shuts the fuel off? Jay just learned that lesson.
Too funny, he broke down and rolled into my dads driveway. My dad came home to find his driveway blocked. Jay did NOT like seeing blue lights, nor a very big cop stepping out of the car with a string of questions. :) I should mention those two had never met, until this evening. |
Boosted just to add more pucker factor!
|
This is seriously weird weather. It was 70 degrees when I went to the airport, had to buy a sweater when I got to Chicago.
4 flights cancelled out from under me - 1 short of the record. Whatchagonnado. |

But seriously, a volvo!! They are quirky things, that are okay when they are running, but to hot one up, well that's just asking for trouble!:eek: |

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma: A classic Blue Norther hit Oklahoma on November 11, 1911 (11/11/11!!). In a few hours time, temperatures plunged from a balmy, and record, high of 83 F (28oC), to a record low of 17 oF (-8oC). By the next morning the temperature fell to 14 oF (-10oC) — a drop of 69 Fahrenheit degrees (38.3 Celsius degrees) in less than 24 hours. This event is the only date left in the Oklahoma City record books on which the existing record high and record low temperatures for the date occurred on the same day. That was a bit over 101 years ago. Imagine those folks that had no idea what was coming. |
wow, wonder what they blamed for that, cause there was no global warming fall guy then!
Probably put it down to God! |
okay time for bed for me, not a pleasant experience since it is still quite warm and the aircon is not working, tradesman will hopefully come tomorrow, yeah right!!
|
can't believe that I am wishing the aircon was working, and only last week I was wishing it would warm up, but who would have thought that anybody in Heaven was listening!!!
