He's just jealous because he doesn't have a car of his own to put flames on....

He'd better be concentrating on the parts gap, which is still miles wide!! :p:p:p
I've bought more parts this week alone than you have lying around so far....

let's evaluate the statement, once the engine is in it... who knows.. the flames may well be accurate if the first gear makes him go backwards with the car.

5, and the week aint over yet...

svandamme 02-26-2010 02:19 AM

Geronimo '74 02-26-2010 02:37 AM

Do I really have to explain to you how easily one can spend 2K buying Porsche parts??
I can get on the phone right now, order SSI's, a muffler and oil lines and be over two grand poorer in less than three minutes...

RKDinOKC 02-26-2010 03:04 AM

An no it is not shopped. 4 hours and several spray cans of Duplicolor temporary paint.
After two weeks I washed it off at the car wash.

45 minutes later... was everything in stock?

Geronimo '74 02-26-2010 03:25 AM

Rick V 02-26-2010 03:29 AM

Okay chock one up to the non thinking one here in Va. We are having rather strong winds so what do we drive? The 4,000lb truck, nope we gotta pedal the Boxster.

svandamme 02-26-2010 03:38 AM

It's good for your blood pressure.

Rick V 02-26-2010 03:44 AM

Like I am not already wound up tighter than a banjo string. I'm just glad I didn't have to take the blonde that goes with the car

svandamme 02-26-2010 03:47 AM

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Uzae_SqbmDE&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Uzae_SqbmDE&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

so now we know who will be the Banjo... Now the real question is.. who will be the old dancing fool??
can't be me, don't have the age for it.

Rick V 02-26-2010 03:55 AM

I recon that would have to be Glen, I think he is the senior member of this little club.

svandamme 02-26-2010 03:57 AM

so who plays the gui-taaaar?

Rick V 02-26-2010 04:05 AM

I am a rather accomplished guitar player myself but since you made me the banjo dude I guess that would leave Dave

Geronimo '74 02-26-2010 05:02 AM

Livi plays the guitar as well.

svandamme 02-26-2010 05:05 AM

yeah, but considering his posting habits as of late, he'll do something like this:

"let's rock! 1 - 2 -3...."

then he'd bugger off and do something else.

Geronimo '74 02-26-2010 05:13 AM

lol, that is probably true.

Schumi 02-26-2010 05:23 AM

There are people all over my upstairs and downstairs living room floors, passed out still.

Not from partying actually...

Rally America's 100AW is in Salem, MO this weekend and my roomate is a mechanic for one of the teams. They are all staying at our place for the weekend. Along with a group of photographers he knows.

Being an open wheel, single seater racer I'm not too into the rally folk, but, whatever. I'm too busy with work and college to go watch the stages.
