The weather folks are saying the radar is presenting reading they have never seen before. The MOAR (mother of all radar) unit is state of the art bleeding edge stuff. It is not looking good for my dads house. It was built in 1939. That neighborhood has never had a tornado. I hope it keeps that record.

Not unless you were in the Navy in 85.;) My instructors were Navy Firsts. One of which followed me out to the fleet to the BigE. Now, I did end up going through a one or two week crypto course after C school finished. That would be extremely funny if you taught that one..:D

We stay weather savvy and pay attention. The sirens are going again. 4th or 5th time tonight. The TV stations are all watching every step of the storm. The folks on the interstate are screwed. It is stupid to try to leave down the interstate.

Another reason I won't move back.... Had enough of them. One skipped right over the first house we lived in when I was a wee tyke. Dodged a couple at the house where we ended up and my folks still live. One of which took out 2/3rds of the little town where my High School was.

My grandmothers house survived one which almost completely took out the small town where my mother grew up. Of the 6 houses on her block 2 survived. One of which was my grandmothers. She rode it out in the bath tub.

Poor Moore OK. They are getting hammered with another tornado. Lots of power flashes from the transformers.
