That's the good thing about the boat... Shoot over to some remote cove and eliminate tan lines. Only problem is there are a few places you reallly don't want a burn.
I was in the sun Saturday with sunscreen, glasses and a hat on and I'm several shades darker.
I like a decent summer tan but not at the cost of wrinkles or cancer so... Sunscreen sunscreen sunscreen!

I have never gotten a sunburn. And I still put on SPF 15 to 30. And I always wear a hat. In Arizona, are you nuts? We don't forget those things.

And avoiding tan lines... You guys were just oogling over tan lines so what's wrong with them. ;)

Yep. I can't wait till he turns 18 then I no longer have to play the game. They have a ton of stuff this summer but one member has his shorts in a knot so it is all going to get skipped.

Well, you are a very supportive father and I think you handle it well so your son handles it well.

I need to get my kitchen updated. Not remodeled. New countertops maybe, and a new sink and I am good.

GH85Carrera 06-04-2013 07:06 AM

When I was a kid in Hawaii in the 60s I ran around in shorts. No shirt, no shoes, no sun screen. It did not exist. I was the color of dark wood. My grandparents did not recognize us when they stepped off the airplane.

I could be outside in the sun all day and not get sunburned.

Now I go to the dermatologist every 12 months to get all the pre-cancerous spots zapped and make sure no skin cancer has popped up.

Stay out of the sun and avoid a tan. It can KILL you. I know that is wasted electrons but don't ever say no one warned you.

We replaced the counter tops with granite and the sink and faucet. And I put in a Tim Taylor garbage disposer. More Power arf arf arf. It was the top of the line 3/4 HP unit. To get 1 HP would take 220.

Wasted electrons? I am an oncology nurse. It would be against my religion to smoke or not wear sunscreen... Especially in AZ. You can't avoid the sun in AZ. We do our best. In fact, most AZ people have a Vitamin D deficiency because we avoid it too much.

How will you know it is really a C-230 if it is invisible? ;)

Jferr006 06-04-2013 07:58 AM

My mother in law is selling her c230k to me cheap. She got an e300. And it has new tires.

Jim Richards 06-04-2013 09:06 AM

IIRC, Rick & Beth have a C230.

Jferr006 06-04-2013 09:19 AM

Jferr006 06-04-2013 09:44 AM

Probably won't pick it up until this weekend. I will then though.

Andy911sc 06-04-2013 01:01 PM

T-Minus 30 minutes. Then off to dinner with Elicia and to the movies to see "Now You See Me"

Outback Porsche 06-04-2013 01:15 PM

Have fun Andy.

Thanks for Jacks well wishes. I hope we have him about for a little longer. We think he's going senile and may have forgotten where the outside water station was (not that it's hard to find). Lately he's been walking past us, stopping randomly, stares into space or maybe at a wall for a while, then turns and gives you a 'fcuk, when did you turn up?' look.

Outback Porsche 06-04-2013 01:17 PM

Yawn, morning all.

It's hump day and TGIF all in one day. I've decided to take a five day weekend.

Jim Richards 06-04-2013 01:22 PM

5-day weekend? What a great idea. :)

Happy Hump Day, Jeff, though it's still Tan-line Tuesday here in the US.
