I will agree and double that. No wonder Yankees are always grumpy. Folks in DC must be the worst, no wonder they all want to move out to Cali. We have had ice and crap on the ground for a week. The normal temperature this time of year is in the 50s. We have not even see a 40 in a week. Dang global warming.

Good Thursday folks.

Time for some coffee.

Glen, you need to get that thing together in time for autocross this weekend! I'm going to run the Focus, need to see if its faster than the 911! ;)

The engine will be finished with the build but it sure will not be ready for an autocross for a while. I still need to get the new 5th gear in the transmission. And lots of other things to get back together. My only real deadline is Spring. I was several months of driving before the trip to California.

Beautiful sunny morning here........well except for the 2 degrees part.

I am glad to hear you are at home. Have you been hanging out in the central states a lot? We have had white stuff on the yards for a week. There must be some way to blame you. :D

Not my fault.......truck and trailer has been for sale since this fall.
Think the trailer is sold but haven't seen a check yet.
Now I need to figure out what I want to do when I grow up....

GH85Carrera 12-12-2013 06:17 AM

Grow up????

Forget that. I refuse to participate in that activity. Just remember my mantra:

You are NEVER too old to have a happy Childhood!

I may grow old, but I ain't gonna grow up.

Move south Pete! ;). We need drivers down here. I know a guy that is looking for O/Os to pull his crude oil trailers. Most of those guys are knocking down around 100k/year...

Sorry we'll miss you Dave. We'll try to make it a point to get up your way on one of our next trips to the west coast. SmileWavy

Had a customer come in that wants stereo coverage of a 1/4 section of property 6 miles further out into the middle of nowhere that Corn, OK. The city of Corn is not exactly a big city.

Anyway this guy want high resolution coverage of the center of nowhere from 40 years ago in 1973. And as a topper he does not want to pay more than $150.

The guy works for a MAJOR pipeline company that pays their attorney that much to ask a question. He is out of luck for 1973 coverage but we do have some images of it in the 60s and 70s.

They are in a hurry for us to get the images ready but I have to wait for them to decide what years they do want since 1973 does not exist. They will likely spend thousands trying to figure out which $150 image they need.

My new headers just arrived!

GH85Carrera 12-12-2013 01:18 PM

Some installation required?

HHI944 12-12-2013 01:35 PM

Nope, just their mere presence should increase horsepower !

GH85Carrera 12-12-2013 02:22 PM

He bought headers, not a coffee can size exhaust tip or a rear wing that is at the roof line.

No wait that only works for ricers.

make sure that you put the wing on the back of the front wheel drive car........

HHI944 12-12-2013 02:45 PM

Righto I'd say he has a bit of work ahead then. Remember, every bloodied knuckle adds 1/4bhp.....severed digits are good for a full pony

Porsche-poor 12-12-2013 02:46 PM

by that rule of thumb or lack there of all the cars on the board should be 1000hp plus.

Just back from driving Mulholland Hwy. some very nice tight twisties there. Ended up on PCH near Malibu. Took PCH to Santa Monica, then cut over to the 405 for the drive home. It was nice at the beach, wearing a tshirt in mid-December. SoCal rocks!
