Well today makes year nine of being totally sober. No AA, just some good ol' good motivation.

I think I'm the opposite. No alcohol now and then and I'm a real ass hole. Alcohol makes me talk and I think talking gets some things out of my system.

I don't think you are a curmudgeon... I can tell its just a tough act. ;)

I was a violent drunk, and spent the last ten years of my drinking career never seeing a bac of 0. I have been told about beating some people half to death and not having any memory of it. I am much more relaxed now, I am still a short fused ass hole but at least now I know why I am getting ready to rip someone in half
