I'm listening to the local HS (1 block away) have band practice on the football field right now. But somehow I don't think the cheerleaders from this Catholic HS are going to be dressed as above.

They wear short skirts like any other HS cheerleaders. That looks more soft porn star than an actual cheerleader.

My dad is off the respirator and starting to stay awake more. He is still very groggy but getting better. He can't remember anything since the ambulance ride apparently. That is not surprizing, except for how alert he was on Sunday when I visited him. I talked to him on the phone today at lunch hour after my mom had told me about her visit with him this morning.

Sounds like things are going well in the recovery. Keeping you and your dad in my thoughts.

Busy day today for me. It ended up with the board meeting for the local Porsche club. That meant free pizza! Burp.

GameStop is the NetFlix/Blockbuster of Video Games.

I fear they are more the blockbuster than the netflix... Despite its troubles netflix has been able to save itself

Netflix does not have storefronts and does streaming. Blockbuster stuck to the Redbox model too long.

Not sure if Gamestop streams games or does downloads. Seems like most games still have a CD that needs to be shipped.

Seems like Steam is the future of the connected gamer.

Gamestop is a brick and mortar store and will have to remain that way because games are too well protected. I have been in the one here a couple of times with the kids and I have hated it. Some snot nosed, Paste eating window licker will eventually take off his helmet long enough to ask me if I need help with something. I usually replay with no thanks I have a life or I ask some random question like how did the snot get under the fridge.
