We have a new restaurant in town and it is Mexican, run by actual Mexicans, man this is some good eatin'

RKDinOKC 11-23-2013 03:23 PM

I've heard about them back East Mexican places. Described as a Taco Bell that serves liquor.

evening all, went to an Amish Quilt Auction today, always fun to watch the Amish peeps, in their surroundings. Beautiful quilts, bought one, a Fall coloured Maple Leaf and Stars, very pretty.
Currently sitting on one of the spare beds.

A lot of them are and I love authentic Mexican food so I avoid those places. Our little new place rawks.
buuuuuuuuuuurp
tomorrow it will be a different noise

RKDinOKC 11-23-2013 03:29 PM

Our family has really never been quilt people. Knitted afghans yes, quilts no.

RKDinOKC 11-23-2013 03:34 PM

I like Tex-Mex. Spicier than authentic Mexican, which is typically bland. If you're moving ta AZ, hope you like the green chili's.

Around here red is mild and green is hot. Out there green is mild and red is hot.

We've got a new Mexican restaurant too. Haven't tried it yet but I hear its good. Gunna give it a go next week with some friends.

Saw the rugs on FB Azzy. I thought you wimenz ride brooms not rugs. ;)

Outback Porsche 11-23-2013 05:06 PM

Woohoo! Another wicket down. We've got the soap dodgers on the ropes now.

Rick V 11-23-2013 05:08 PM

Cricket?

Outback Porsche 11-23-2013 05:09 PM

Evening Rick

Morning Jeff,
See I am learning how to read Australian. :D

Outback Porsche 11-23-2013 05:14 PM

The poms are in their second (final) innings. They've got to get 490 odd more runs to beat us, and have 7 wickets left, with more than a day and a half left to play. Any luck and we'll have the win tonight. The win is pretty much ours unless it rains.

nynor 11-23-2013 05:21 PM

yeah, if it even sprinkles a little rain, you are screwed. LOL!

HHI944 11-23-2013 05:22 PM

Ya wanna bet? You have been to eastern Colorado and Kansas. Not a canyon in sight. I have to drive for at least an hour to find curvy roads. I can go 75 legally just a short drive from home but it is a long straight road.
