Evening Y'all.
Hey Jim have you checked the weather for Sat? snow sleet and freezing rain, welcome back pre-emptivly.
Wow Pets, I am shocked that you are bailing out of the trucking biz but I am not surprised. I am still gonna blame you for any cold weather sky falling crap

Jim Richards 12-12-2013 03:59 PM

That's depressing. I think I might just miss my flight. :)

Nice. :) Which road did you take to PCH? Malibu Canyon, Kanan, Encinal, Decker, or Mulholland?

We took Mulholland. Pretty much no other traffic other than some bicyclists. In the future, we'll explore some of the other canyon roads. They all look like a lot of fun.

Noah930 12-12-2013 09:45 PM

In general, the other canyon roads are more fun alone. Mul is more fun with a passenger (because you can only drive it about 3/10s anyway--except for the west-most section by PCH due to fewer traffic). YMMV.

Home and all unloaded. Had to get the printer out of the cold and plugged in so I could clean the heads and keep the inks from during up. Time to play tomorrow, need to find some high res Porsche photos and posters to try out! ;)

Noah930 12-12-2013 11:44 PM

Make me one of those "Kills Bugs Fast" ones, then!

Noah930 12-12-2013 11:45 PM

Or, heck, how about a poster of an 888? Or carby 900SS? I don't have any Ducati art on the garage walls.

In the car this morning my mate says to me; 'gee it was cold last night, I woke up and had to pull up the covers.' I said to him that I must be going through menopause because I've been having hot flushes and woke to turn the fan up higher.
He then asked me; 'Hot flushes ay, so when you have a wank does it come out a different colour?' I said, dunno coz I've got my eyes squinted shut. He then asked 'what? You mean you don't keep tabs on how far you can shoot?'
I said, na. I'm too busy with my ears, listening.

Morning Y'all,
Note to self, have at least one cup of coffee before reading this thread

Outback Porsche 12-13-2013 02:41 AM

Margarita No.5.....that's a song isn't it?

Outback Porsche 12-13-2013 04:51 AM

Hmm...I'm a soft cock tonight. A squillion and one margaritas and I'm ready for bed :(

That is a cute little printer. ;)

Our is 64 inches wide. I have yet to find any material wider than 60 so I have no idea what the extra 4 inches are for. I assume some of the canvas materials or some product comes in 64 inch widths. I can tell you a 60 x 120 print is a big sucker.

That looks like a fun toy. You will quickly find you have no wall room to hang a 40 x 60 print much less something bigger. Did the printer come with a good RIP like Onyx PosterShop? You will hate waiting on the print to RIP if you don't have a good package.

GH85Carrera 12-13-2013 05:41 AM

Good Friday morning folks!

It was raining this morning and my car is moving down the scale from dirty to disgusting. I will fix that this weekend. We are supposed to be in the 50s and sunny.

Jim Richards 12-13-2013 07:18 AM

Morning, y'all. Last day of work-cation. Plenty of work to do!

Porsche-poor 12-13-2013 08:16 AM

some days I just want to give up. This year end has been one big pain in the @$$

Jim Richards 12-13-2013 08:35 AM

Think positive, David. Everything's looking up. Why next year, your pain should move all the way up to your neck! :D

GH85Carrera 12-13-2013 08:45 AM

Are the berry bushes attacking you at work AND at home?

I think I've asked before, but what kind of printer are you running?

I would assume the 64" is so you could print a 60" wide banner and still have room to hem the edges, I'll check but I think we can get 64" wide banner material. Most of the vinyl media though comes in 54".

We were really limited by space in the office, any wider and we would have had to put it out in the garage bay, which is less than ideal. But the the nice thing about the Rolands is that they are also plotters, so we can print and cut large decals on one machine.

And ya, it came with the roland Versarip software, which is supposed to work great with these printers.
