Still 0*
Got my plowing done. Had a slight break down......bolt broke on the plow pivot.
Had to disconnect both angle cylinder hoses so I could push the blade back and get a new bolt in.
Warming up with a cup of coffee before I start on my daughters car.

Roof is good. Back yard is full of nails.

Need some steel soled boots

GH85Carrera 01-03-2014 11:07 AM

You need magnets on some steel shank boots and go pace around the yard.

Porsche-poor 01-03-2014 11:19 AM

just stay inside.

They call him Clipper, Clipper, faster than lightning,
No-one you see, is smarter than he,
And we know Clipper, lives in a world full of wonder,
Flying there-under, under the bed!

RKDinOKC 01-03-2014 12:17 PM

Don't want him marking his territory all over the house. We got him early enough he doesn't know he even has a territory.

Our pilot has been moaning about all the pretty flying weather we have had recently and no jobs to fly. Today we got a hot job, hurry hurry hair is on fire hurry hurry.

The wind is blowing like crazy straight out of Texas. Kansas sucks big time today. The job we had to fly was in south OK. He said it was about the shortest takeoff roll he ever remembers. He was making 65 knots on the trip down and 160 knots on the way back.

Think this might be the cause of the tire rub

Easy fix except for the fact that one of the bolts wouldn't break loose (3/4 drive air gun) so I got on it with a breaker bar. It started turning but wouldn't back out.
The frame is boxed in with no access to the bolt.
Had to torch the head off. Haven't figured out how i'm going to fix that yet.
The bolt turns but whatever it's threaded into is spinning inside the frame:(

I need to straighten this too

Pete, I presume by straighten you mean replace. I can't imagine sending your daughter out with an a-arm that looked like that and was bent back. Unless you have some amazing equipment to straighten that thing.

pete3799 01-03-2014 03:36 PM

No......new control arm is on the way.
The wheel is what i'm going to straighten.

GH85Carrera 01-03-2014 03:38 PM

Joe, it looks like the cold is reaching down to you as well. I see below freezing for your area in the near future.

Rick V 01-03-2014 03:39 PM

Evening Y'all.
Pete You should make the daughter freeze along with you as you fix it.
Our non event of snow has garnered us the privilege of driving around on the rim of a margarita glass.

Rick V 01-03-2014 03:42 PM

Jim Richards 01-03-2014 03:47 PM

Porsche-poor 01-03-2014 03:47 PM
