Definitely don't want them to do it. I am a big supporter of small government, putting the power back to the people and deregulation. What we have now is so corrupt and out of control it's ridiculous.

Yea, when the current tax law is so convoluted and complex that no one on the planet understands it all we have a real problem. It is currently almost 4 million words! There are numerous changes to it every month. Since 2001, Congress has made nearly 5,000 changes to the Tax Code. That’s more than a change per day. I sure don't want that done to the Constitution.

I like it just the way it is. Some of the more recent amendments...I could do without.

RKDinOKC 01-06-2014 08:34 AM

The current idiots make edits/changes oops more laws every time they meet.

GH85Carrera 01-06-2014 08:51 AM

Most of the oops or loopholes are done 100% on purpose.

It's looking like at 5PM, it'll be about 15 degrees cooler with about 20 mph more wind than it was a 5AM today. WTH? :(

GH85Carrera 01-06-2014 11:52 AM

That is a COLD front in action.

Jim Richards 01-06-2014 11:54 AM

It's in the 70s today at my house. Too bad it's so far away. :(

RKDinOKC 01-06-2014 12:06 PM

In my house it's 72°F like always. Outside it's a crisp 19°F they claim feels like 8.

It was interesting watching the water temperature guage in my El Camino this morning. Of course it was in the garage when I fired it up for the commute. The garage was about 40 degrees. The stop sign 2.5 miles south is where it is usually warm enough to crank the heat to max. I had to drive 2 miles further to see the thermostat open. The temp dropped way down, the t-stat closed some the temp went back up and that happened twice more before it stabilized. About then I was at work.

Normally I park in the shade even in winter to protect the paint and interior. Today it is in the sun to get some free solar cabin heat.

LOL. If I was at my house, I'd seriously have to consider turning on the AC.

Evening Y'all.
I know there are parts of the country that are in much worse shape then Va, and not to slight what others are going through but,
DAMN IT'S FRICKING COLD, AND THAT WIND CAN SMOOTCH MY REAR END!

GH85Carrera 01-06-2014 03:55 PM

Rick, that would likely cause frostbite.

Rick V 01-06-2014 03:56 PM

I will fart at it to warm it up

HHI944 01-06-2014 03:58 PM

It's gonna get to 18 with windchill of 0 tonight.......I'm not amused

GH85Carrera 01-06-2014 04:00 PM

So Gator Popsicles everywhere.

Rick V 01-06-2014 04:00 PM

we are looking at 0 with a windchill of -15 to -20

Icemaster 01-06-2014 04:09 PM

Evening.

Sitting at minus 4 already. Amazing how extremes bring out all the gremlins. TPMS sensor failure in one tire, divers door handle must have dropped a connecting rod and won't open from the outside now, alignment gone south. Must have hit a pothole. And it's too farging cold to work on any of this outside. More money flushed.

Love my daily driver.

Rick V 01-06-2014 04:11 PM

Just come to balmy Va. I'll fix it for ya Pete

Jim Richards 01-06-2014 04:14 PM

I'm looking forward to walking the dog tonight. 20 mph wind with 40 mph gusts. I think that might be enough to make her fly.
