Large Steel Safe

Yea, the large glass safe is not very good.

When I was looking at houses...one 4 sale by builder/owner had a hidden safe built into the house. He said he would only show me where it is if I bought the house. It was a pretty cool house except the front yard and driveway's were on a very very busy 4 lane street.

Didn't claim the guy selling it is the sharpest tack in the box.....but the price is right and it's big enough I could throw the spoons, valuables, artwork, etc in when leaving town for multiple days.

I know a couple of people that got their spoons pilfered. Both times it was within two weeks of buying a really nice collectable spoon at a local gun dealer. One, they cracked his safe and emptied it, the other they found his secret hidey place and camouflaged packing. The one with the hidden stuff also lost $17K in silver coins that was in used paint cans on the shelf in his garage with other half empty paint cans. They seem to be very thorough and able to take their time to look everywhere and left everything looking undisturbed so they did not know when it actually happened.

I have cameras that can be set to send me the pic when motion is detected and my neighborhood is gated with deputized security officers.....guns, badges and all.... The safe just needs to keep them occupied for a few minutes...

Morning Everyone. Had a good time this weekend visiting friends in Washington D.C.

I got to see the Constitution, Declaration of Ind. and Bill of Rights for the first time. It was interesting seeing all the edits our founding fathers had right on it. Shows you how not perfect everything is and how we could still use some editing.

No doubt the constitution could use some edits but to let that bunch of idiots in Congress do the editing would be a disaster. It would make less sense than a Miley Cyrus video after they were done. It would be twice the length of the Obamacare bill and have more loop holes than the current federal tax code. :eek:
