Glen, thanks for looking. Thought maybe those shots I've been getting as part of the research thing were making me go blind.

Is it just me or is it hard to read?

It's way too bright. I get eyestrain in a minute. The low contrast doesn't help either.

RKDinOKC 01-17-2014 08:05 AM

Try clicking down into the products or documents where there is a list of items. The list has alternating white and that light green background but the text is light gray. I just can't hardly read the items at all.

Went to the about us page and the content rotates. It doesn't stay on a any one thing long enough for me to read it! Especially if you go to the board of directors and click on one of them.

That site is very difficult to read. Someone had their colours all fcuked up on their monitor.

A live chat window popped up while I was on there, so I told the guy on the other end what I thought about the site. ;)

Its an oilfield company! Needs to be black, chrome, and red... With nudie pics all over!

Outback Porsche 01-17-2014 08:40 AM

Something like this

RKDinOKC 01-17-2014 08:57 AM

Well, it used to be black with red, but because of the very conservative fundamentalist owners, no nudie pics.

I have to use this new web design to maintain the email (password) list. This new design has made it very difficult. The text is so light when you type in a search box you can't tell what you typed.

And they told us not to play around pump jacks cause we could be seriously killed.

GH85Carrera 01-17-2014 09:32 AM

Several years ago when I worked at the professional photo lab we had some gruesome negatives come in. I had to make 16x20 prints of 10 year old boy that thought it would be neat to ride a pump jack. The prints were for a lawsuit and trial. I have had to print many gruesome photos over the years. I had to print them after normal work hours so I did not gross out all the other employees. I put the finished mounted prints in a box and taped a big warning label on it to not look. I will only say the kid died quickly.

Don't play with pump jacks.

In Russia, Pump Jacks ride you.

RKDinOKC 01-17-2014 11:29 AM

Woo hoo! The Steak and Catfish Barn didn't close after all. They moved closer to my house. Guess what I'm having for dinner tonight.

GH85Carrera 01-17-2014 11:58 AM

Where is the place now?

Interesting random fact: russia claims to have evidence that Obama had John Noveske as well as the guy from FPSRussia killed...

I just made a "quick trip" to the local oil supply place to pick up a couple of cases of Brad Penn oil. They are just 12 quart bottles per case. I was going to get just one but the place is 25 miles away. It is mostly highway all the way. 70 MPH (the speed limit) and it took 20 minutes each way. I figured it was worth it to just store one oil change worth to save the drive. My office is in the NW part of the city. The oil distribution place is in the NW part of the city. I never got out of the NW 1/4 of the city and it took an hour round trip. The oil place was busy and it took a few minutes to get waited on.

I use Royal Purple HPS and get it shipped to my front door free ground.

GH85Carrera 01-17-2014 03:06 PM

I used SWEPCO for years. Shipped to my door is was $202 a case of 24. The Brad Penn is $138.75 for 24 bottles. Both are highly rated for flat tappet cam engines like my Elky & 911.

With the cost to drive there and Turnpike fees it is still a savings of 30% or so for BP.

I bought my SWEPCO directly from them. The shipping cost was the big difference in cost. They shipped it via UPS ground but it is heavy.

1959 Volkswagen Beetle VW Bug

RKDinOKC 01-17-2014 03:30 PM
