It may not bring happiness, but it sure allows you to choose your misery....

It may not bring happiness, but crying in a Porsche sure beats crying in a Pinto....

It may not bring happiness, but it brings real estate, luxury cars, fine women and loooong vacations, so that at least is some compensation....

SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!

RKDinOKC 05-03-2010 11:46 PM

The plight of the poor is their lack of money.

Happiness is artificial. Absence of misery leaves you feeling content. No more. For happiness you need drugs. Trust me, I am a doctor. :D

Too much volcanic ash in your cornflakes, Markus? :p

Happiness is the absence of unhappiness, in spite of a lack of drugs. :D

Ya got that right Jim. Attitude is a large part of happiness. Don't dwell on the negative things you have no control over. Pay attention to the good things that you can control.

The only drug I use is beer!

i've been, went to breakfast with the wife and littlun, then terrorized emigration and parley's canyon in my porsche, with newly found power, and now i have some chores to do.

RKDinOKC 05-04-2010 12:11 PM

yep a 44, german made swiss autowinder exhibition back. Number 94 of 100 limited Edition Porsche 928 watch and my 928 is a 1994. Both the white and the red glow in the dark. I designed and did the artwork for the face and hands.

Yes , I am blessed with hair everywhere except my palms, bottom of my feet, and top of my head.

nynor 05-04-2010 12:13 PM

dude, that is really cool.

nynor 05-04-2010 12:15 PM

any suggestions on suspension for my 944. i promise to follow your advice on this one. at the least, the new chips are fun for now. :)

i am looking to autocross and track my car. i drive it on the road as well, but harshness doesn't matter to me.

Schumi 05-04-2010 12:34 PM

Mild setup:
250 front springs w/ ground control coilovers, lowered 1". M030 sized front arb with an adjustable rear arb. reindex stock torsion bar to lower rear 1". Bilstein or koni's all around.

Hardcore setup:
400 front springs with 28mm rear torsion bars, lowered 1.25" all around. m030 bars. re-valved bilsteins all around. poly bushings are a must here.

alternative to hardcore: keep stock rear torsion bar and add a coilover kit to the rear with a 100lb helper spring.

nynor 05-04-2010 12:41 PM

ok, i am going to start stockpiling suspension parts.
