It will require a professional camera with no jpegs to make a good 5x10. I guess I could bring our Nikon D3 out next time. Heck we have the keys we don't have to have an autocross for pictures just a high res professional image.

We have a 40x60 of the OU-Texas game shot with our Nikon D3 on the wall. It was shot in Raw mode so we end up with a 35 mb tiff file. There are zero compression artifacts. It is amazing how much detail there is.

Here is an overall of the image

On the large format printer at work the lowest resolution you can get any kind of decent print is 100 dpi. My point and shoot 12x zoom pocket camera is 10 megapixel which produces an image that is 3648x2736 pixels, or a maximum of 36" x 27" print at 100dpi.

By contrast producing images for printing on a press or electronic press typically requires a minimum on 300dpi. At that resolution the biggest I can reliably print a decent image is 12x9.

I do have some pretty cool software that increases resolution about 170% fairly well.

Also some large format printers have a mode that they can make stuff really big for murals, some seem to work well, some do not.

Slipping again. Perhaps if you were to enlarge the photo of the stadium to a point where there are women plainly visible it would attract more views and commentary this way.

Morning Guys!

I'm ba-aaack! :D:D

Busy weekend guys, so I did not get a chance to post, sorry for that.
FWIW I really missed you guys a lot:D:D

Went out to diner in Antwerp on Saturday with the brother of my ex (ex as in the one that got away, miss right...) Was doing fine until we bumped into her, and what seemed to be a boyfriend. Or at least a boyfriend to be...... It's been five years since we broke up, it still hurts. Fukc it, I need to move on, but this encounter made a serious dent in my joyful mood.
Took my best friend to diner yesterday and had a good time.

Sid, I got your pic, but was nowhere near a computer so I did not have the chance to post it.
I'll make up for that now ;)
