like the new Metlife ad, not bad at all, the gang from Peanuts and Charlie Brown playing the Star Spangled Banner on his little piano in the middle of the Gridiron Stadium, cute.

RKDinOKC 02-03-2014 06:36 PM

It' all Coke's fault

Since some of you infrequently log into FB... I have a drawing for one of my shift knobs open for entry until Thursday evening (PST). The bottom layer of wood split and pretty much makes it unsellable. You'll never see the cracks once installed.

RKDinOKC 02-03-2014 09:46 PM

Well, didn't see the siblings all day. Floor guy came and installed the locking vinyl planks in the kitchen and dining room. It looks great. He's coming back tomorrow to do half the living room and laundry room. (He wasn't going to have time, but his schedule opened up).

Took Mom this evening to pick up enough more flooring to do the living etc. When I got home found my brother basically re-doing most of the flooring the professional had put down because he didn't like the gaps. I went off and told him he had just relieved my professional installer of any responsibility to do the job right, brother left pissed.

Richard, I thought my family was messed up.....you win. ;)

That commercial has been making the rounds at work today. We built all the video equipment in the stadium, and at 20 seconds in you can see our control console for the scoreboards sitting on the table. Will be cool to show to customers to point out that we are selling them the same control system used for the Superbowl!

Went and looked at 2002 TII for Seahawk tonight. Sweet little ride, hopefully he gets it bought!

Jim Richards 02-04-2014 02:56 AM

Great. A tii should be a fun little car for Seahawk to bomb around southern Maryland.

GH85Carrera 02-04-2014 04:27 AM

So are ya gonna deliver it to him if he buys it? That would be a fun trip.

GH85Carrera 02-04-2014 05:14 AM

Hey Seahawk, if you do buy it and you drive it home try to go through Oklahoma City. I would love to meet up and buy you lunch or dinner, or even breakfast. I guess it depends on when you come through.

RKDinOKC 02-04-2014 05:25 AM

Mertnin.

Today get new floors in half the living room and the laundry room. Also getting new range. Previous owner painted the original harvest gold range and hood with latex. It has slowly been washing off and is starting to look pretty bad.

The installer is telling me they have been using the stuff I got in Walmarts, and restaurants because it is super durable and keeps looking great by just cleaning with water. Moving my big heavy antique oak table and buffet back into kitchen he didn't even put the floor protection sliders I have under the feet, just scooted them and NO SCRATCHES, wow. Would have scratched the beegeebees out of real wood floors. Will have to see how it wears with some every day life happening on it.

Since rarely, if ever use the back half of the shelves in refrigerator, considering getting a new one that is shallower so doesn't stick out past lower cabinets. Will for sure make the kitchen look and feel a lot bigger.

Next thing you know will be wanting a new dish washer and to freshen up the paint on the cabinets. Friend showed me how he and his wife used vinyl floor tiles as shelf liners, what a great idea!

We went with a counter depth refrigerator in our SoCal house. It still sticks out a little, but not too much. And, it's plenty big enough for us.

Andy911sc 02-04-2014 05:42 AM

Morning Everyone.

Don't forget to ask how much for the Coke.

GH85Carrera 02-04-2014 05:52 AM

It always sounds like a drug deal to me when Richard asks the watress for "Mexican Coke"

Jim Richards 02-04-2014 05:58 AM

What is that, Coke with jalapenos?

GH85Carrera 02-04-2014 06:08 AM

Nope, Coke made with cane sugar not corn syrup.
