Goodnight folks. Gotta get up extra early body time.

I did get the Elky washed. It was DIRTY but clean now.

Wow, was watching a movie on Netflix last night and suddenly noticed all the clocks in my house and cars were off by an hour. Don't recall seeing any bright flashing lights or hearing any strange or unusual noises. Maybe I should visit a hypnothearapist to see if I can recall the missing hour to see if I was visited or abducted by an extra-terrestrial. I feel fine, my butt doesn't hurt or anything. Just kind of odd I have an hour I can't account for.

porsche4life 03-09-2014 10:06 PM

Weird... Our clocks didn't change a bit! :D ;)

Definitely aliens and not government goons pretending to be aliens.....Real aliens are courteous enough to use lube....gvt goons wouldn't dream of it

Welp, the mac mini I've been using for business just isn't hacking it anymore....trying to use a mac was a bad idea....to much of the crap I need is winblows only....going to pick up a hp supercalifuchtardistic something or the other workstation tomorrow

RKDinOKC 03-09-2014 11:03 PM

your mac mini doesn't have an intel processor? Both of mine do and can run winblows in boot camp. Just install whatever flavor you need and boot as a winblows box.

Also have both 7 and xp on my laptop under VMware Fuzion. Some of the settings in Exchange have to be done with Internet Explorer. To setup a Room Calendar properly I have to use the Exchange Console, Exchange Shell, Internet Explorere, AND Outlook on Windows. Each accesses settings the others can't.

HHI944 03-09-2014 11:05 PM

It does, but it just lags like crazy running VM and it's older/maxed out at 2gb RAM

HHI944 03-09-2014 11:10 PM

Heck, my phone has 3gb....just time to upgrade and it makes sense to go back to windows for the work unit.

HHI944 03-09-2014 11:12 PM

I could run it on my antique (2009, first gen aluminum) macbook, but I want to keep the work and personal separate.

Buongiorno, y'all.

GH85Carrera 03-10-2014 05:37 AM

Morning all.

The ONLY part of DST I dislike is the commute into work in the dark. I guess in a month or so the sun will be back. I do LOVE the extra hour in the evening of sun. Our dogs seem to adjust to DST instantly. Reuben thinks it is great to get fed an hour earlier. He would vote for a new DST every day. He hates going back to normal time.

Is it wrong to be excited about getting some new wheels for the GTS?

Feel like a kid waiting for Christmas!

Can you guess what my desktop background is?

porsche4life 03-10-2014 08:22 AM

I found a sweet GT3 for glen! ;)

Porsche GT3 custom

Another one from the owners been smoking crack files...

1987 Porsche 944 Guards Red Showroom

RKDinOKC 03-10-2014 08:37 AM

Somehow can't imaging Glen getting a GT3 that is not white.

RKDinOKC 03-10-2014 08:43 AM

That 944 is a prime example of someone spending $10,000 to make it a $5000 car. Does look like he did a nice job though. Kinda like the body kit.

It would look even better with some of these wheels on it...

Yesh, that is FUGLY. Any GT3 I get is gonna be as unmodified as possible. Unless it is a RUF or done by some very top end shop every customized feature is a big minus.

porsche4life 03-10-2014 08:48 AM

You missed that it's not a real GT3 even. ;)

RKDinOKC 03-10-2014 08:52 AM

Gratuitous

Yea, I saw it was a "clone" and that makes it even less desirable. It probably has a production engine not the GT3 engine. The paint job told me that whoever did it has a very different vision than mine of what a GT3 is and should be.

Nothing against custom 911s, but his choices are nothing like what I want.
