We have lots of forks in our silverware drawer. Do you need a soup spoon or butter knife?

I left this afternoon to get some gas for the tractor and stop at the P.O. to mail some letters.

Met the town grader coming up through just a little ways below the driveway so I backed up and into the drive to get out of his way as he had the wing down and a good blade full of snow. Thought it weird that they were plowing with the grader as they usually just use it to wing the snow banks back.
Anyway on the way back from the store the grader is at the town garage so I stopped to see what was up. Turns out the newest of the town trucks ( only have 2) threw a fan belt, one of those serpentine jobbies, up on top of Wiley Hill road and he had to leave it there and got a ride back to the garage to get the grader. Great time for the truck to be down in the middle of the biggest storm this year so I volunteered to go up and drive it back down to the garage ( it was cooled off by then and it's almost all down hill from there). One of the Selectmen showed up about then and gave me a ride up.

Plowed my way back down the hill and had to stop to let it cool before I went up the last hill.
Had to take the plow off as it won't fit in the garage with it on.
Bottom line........nobody has a belt for it. I'll have to find one tomorrow somewhere.

Pete, you sure know how to party.

Big plans for a used car salesman.

No kidding Richard. Kinda surprising that he's got that kind of dough off just a couple of note lots...

Whats a house like that cost? 10mill? 20mill?

RKDinOKC 03-13-2014 03:10 AM

Well, conservative guestimate... if it was a conventional home $200 /sqft @ 90,000sqft = $18 million The initial guestimate on what it will cost Kimray to build their new facility is $45 million. Even though their square footage is a lot higher their architectural design is conservative industrial. I'm betting a castle like the drawings pictured will go well over that due to the custom work on stuff like the funky windows, woodwork, and masonry.

Well my yearly bleed to the Feds, State and Local is all done. Feels good to not have to owe anybody anything. I would just like to know how my brothers ex-wife who has never worked a day in her life gets money and a good amount every year. We are talking close to the 8k mark.

Drugs & prostitution have always be a good income stream.

I did my taxes last month. I still owe the state a few bucks. Everything is signed, the check is cut but it will not get mailed until April 14th.

Good Morning folks.

Sid, that house would be cool to see. If it gets built it will be a tourist attraction. There is a house just a few miles from place. This is Sooner Rd & Britton. 80 acres.

There are several in that area as big or bigger.

Why would you want a house that big? One could have a regular house and enjoy other aspects of life.

I agree. Of course if you have enough money you can do the other things as well.

This place is just under a mile from my house.

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1394719651.jpg

It is also 80 acres. There is a waterfall near their bridge that is over 80 feet wide and the pool by the house has a waterfall that flows over the grotto to a bar area. Every tree has subtle lighting. It looks like a city park with a large landscaping crew. The guy that owns it is a geologist working for a living. He must be a damn good one.

One of the the barns has dozens of nice cars.

Must be a geologist working for an oil or gas company. I suspect gas.

Yep, he ain't just a research scientist or a college professor.
