You tradin out the 44 for the Beetle? Or tryin to fill the garage to help hold off on a bus or 911 so you can find a good deal.
Nope. I've got storage rented so we have space for both. :). Not sure if I will buy a 911 or not, just depends on if I stumble on the right one.

I can't lay claim to that one Joe ;)

Funny stuff though, and a good giggle.

It started giving me flashbacks to the time I got Birdseye chili juice on my tockley :(

We're up early this morning, off for a trek into Palm Valley Finke Gorge National Park - Parks and Wildlife Commission NT and Gosses Bluff Gosses Bluff crater - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia today.

The buddy with the round hay bale mover came over. We just lowered it down. There was some shoving and grunting and mumbled words.

I started on the intake gasket replacement. What a major pain in the posterior.

RKDinOKC 05-10-2014 06:52 PM

I don't know about these things, the posterior has an intake gasket?

No that is an exhaust gasket.

Maybe some shreddies might help...

Shreddies flatulence filtering underwear features a ‘Zorflex’ activated carbon back panel that absorbs all flatulence odours. Due to its highly porous nature, the odour vapours become trapped and neutralised by the cloth, which is then reactivated by simply washing the garment.

I worked for two hours just to get the stuff out of the way and tomorrow I can pull the distributor and the intake. I still need to figure the easiest way to rotate the engine. I guess a socket on the crankshaft pulley nut might do it. I really don't want to have to get to the flywheel. I want to get the engine rotated to TDC on cylinder one before I pull the distributor.

Should turn easily with the plugs out.

Slight grrr. We have a couple fish tanks in the house. I did my weekly water exchange on them yesterday. Tons of food at the bottom. Odd. Turns out the kids had a friend over the day before and she did some feeding of the fish. Holy smokes, did she use the whole canister? Anyway, either from the rotting food or from the shock of the water exchange three of the little guys didn't make it to see Mother's Day.

Gotta do another exchange today--there's still food sitting on the gravel this morning. Hope more of them don't bite the dust.

Had a great day today. Ran out of time and didn't make it to Gosses Bluff. Palm Valley was beautiful.

Okay I need $550 fast. Someone local has a Marshal full stack and they need money worse than I do.
Poor timing.

Noah930 05-11-2014 07:42 AM

Just missed my daughter on TV. Went to wash my hands after walking the dog, and she just reported that I missed her little Mother's Day promo spot wedged in between the commercials on the Hub Network (a kids' TV station).

Bad Daddy

Noah930 05-11-2014 07:46 AM

It's supposed to play throughout the day. I'll catch it, yet.
