Good hump day folks.

Jeff, we just got rid of winter. It is your turn now. We get to have summer! :p

Jim Richards 06-04-2014 05:44 AM

Heat! Humidity! Bugs! Oh boy!

morning all.
cool Glen. I want one now.

Andy911sc 06-04-2014 07:13 AM

Happy Hump Day everyone.

Well, I think 62,000 miles on front brakes and rotors on my 09 Jeep is an accomplishment. Ordered new sets this morning from Rock Auto. I think the jeep dealer was ticked when I told them to not put the inspection sticker on and I will do the work myself.

The fiance asked me why she needs new brakes every 20-30k miles and I don't. I asked her if she wanted me to lie or be honest.....hahaha.

close call!

RKDinOKC 06-04-2014 07:41 AM

I was questioning only getting 40K out of the clutch on my 2.0 liter 914 and mechanic claimed was doing something right to get over 20K on that model.

Summit Racing has the MD6XP for $1,915 with free shipping.

You will need a loading dock and a fork lift or pay an extra $100 for a lift-gate delivery truck.

Porsche-poor 06-04-2014 07:48 AM

I want one but not at this point.

Noah930 06-04-2014 07:49 AM

Out of curiosity, how much does the lift (itself) weigh? I couldn't find it listed in the ad.

GH85Carrera 06-04-2014 07:53 AM

It is dang heavy. I think it was just under 900 pounds. It is very solid. With the wheels and the way it is designed you can move it around with some effort by yourself. Since mine is in the pit it ain't ever going anywhere.

Jim Richards 06-04-2014 08:16 AM

I want one, or a MaxJack. Probably the scissors lift is the way I'll go if I can cut loose the $ for one.

Porsche-poor 06-04-2014 08:18 AM

I have other things I want for the car first. Simple things like no stalls at lights, the suspension.....

slodave 06-04-2014 08:54 AM

Huh? What time is it and why am I up?

@$%@#$! I'm up might as well look like I'm working

slodave 06-04-2014 09:08 AM

I think I'm going to take my own advice. Now, if only the construction people would shut up.

Porsche-poor 06-04-2014 09:22 AM

ear plugs

I have a job for you only I didn't ask and I know nothing about it.

Bug someone for me......

slodave 06-04-2014 10:05 AM

Now it's a jack hammer. Gah! Ear plugs don't work with vibrations.
