Morning Y'all

Jim Richards 03-16-2015 02:45 AM

Mornin', Rick. What the hell are we doing up so early?

fintstone 03-16-2015 02:56 AM

Supposed to be warm this afternoon.

ckelly78z 03-16-2015 05:35 AM

Supposed to be 68 degees F here in NW Ohio for the first time since October....gotta armorall and wax the truck in order to take pics and place add to sell. Hoping to find a 05-06 Ford Diesel F250 4x4 in the $10,000 range to pull the camper and perform all farm functions. (doesn't need to be perfect).

GH85Carrera 03-16-2015 05:36 AM

Yea, we are supposed to be about 78 degrees. I almost broke out the shorts.

Good Monday morning folks.

This is spring break week around here. Most of the colleges and schools are out this week. There was hardly any traffic this morning. I saw more deer than cars for a couple of miles.

fintstone 03-16-2015 05:43 AM

Pretty decent here on the east coast today as well. No one at work...almost everyone out sick. My wife has a bad cold too. Sure hope I don't catch it.

GH85Carrera 03-16-2015 05:49 AM

My wife is home on spring break. She was still in bead as when I kissed her goodby this morning. I told her to try to get up before 9:00 AM. ;)

Oh Haha 03-16-2015 05:58 AM

Mornin'

It's supposed to be near 60 today. Dropped the kids off at school with spring jackets which is a nice change.

I'm not as sore as I thought I would be from the activity yesterday.
Probably going to mess with the 911 for a little while today.

The yard is way too soft to even try to get it cleaned up. Riding our bikes from the shed to the house left tire ruts.

pete3799 03-16-2015 06:00 AM

Couple of inches of snow yesterday ........warming up to mid 30's today.
Not very spring like here yet.

RKDinOKC 03-16-2015 06:54 AM

Good Morning.

Really weird day yesterday and today. Helping Sisters get rid of the stuff I've been trying to keep them from moving or trashing for the last 15 years. Still had to give them standing orders that if they did not want it and it is a decorative item, just leave it. Don't know why they want to throw away anything they don't like.

After just one day the house is looking kind of bare. A lot of the artwork on the walls was done by and returned to siblings or made bu mom and promised to siblings. Nothing on my walls was purchased artwork, it was all made by someone in the family. I'm okay with most of it getting distributed, have stared some of that art for 50 years now. Just have to start looking for artwork.

Oldest brother (75) asked for a dresser that was in his bedroom when he was growning up. He thinks it is worth something, it ain't. When he left yesterday he said he didn't want anything unless it was some cash he could spend,

Yesterday they emptied, except for furniture Mom's bedroom, closet, dressers, and bathroom. Today we tackle the kitchen, living room, and garage storage. oh boy.

Those would look great in the walls in your house! :p

I guess I could even print you one of your own Porsche. Just let me know what size. A nice 4x8 foot of that top photo would be perfect for the living room!

flipper35 03-16-2015 08:58 AM

Richard, I know just where you can get a white longhood as a project to go with those pictures.

Supposed to be 74* today and swap the numbers for tomorrow. :(

We had a Red Ryder shoot at church Saturday evening. I placed 5th. Oh well, we had some pretty stiff competition and the winning shooter happened to hit the diamond in the shoot off (5 shots in the qualifiers and we had only 3 shots in the shoot off). I was happy with the kids shooting. On her second round Emily had 3 bulls and the other two in the 10 ring. Jacob had one in the 10 ring and 1 in the ring and 3 not on target. He did better than some of the older kids and was on par with one of the kids whose dad held the spoon while the kid pulled the trigger. The dad holding the spoon happens to be the winner. Jacob is 5.5 and did everything but cock it by himself. /end kid brag.

Glen, from your description I am glad the only time I had a wiper motor issue was when it was under warranty still.

Rick, how is the title paperwork going on the "truck"?

Joe, I always wondered how you fit in the Lotus?

GH85Carrera 03-16-2015 09:28 AM

Yea, the wiper motor was not difficult once the stuff was out of the way.

I guess ever 29 years and 335,000 miles for a wiper is not bad. The good news is it did not cost me a penny! I have had that replacement motor on hand for 10 years!

flipper35 03-16-2015 09:30 AM

It is good when spare parts are on hand.

HHI944 03-16-2015 12:18 PM

The lotus is actually pretty roomy......just a pain to get in and out.

flipper35 03-16-2015 01:33 PM

I was curious. They look like a small car. I hear similar about the Elise and Exige. They are OK if you can get in and out of them. A friend of mine rode in his business partners late 80s Espirit and said it was OK but if you took a passenger to get the paper you had to tie the paper on the outside.

HHI944 03-16-2015 01:42 PM

Mine actually has a pretty decent trunk.

RKDinOKC 03-16-2015 02:45 PM

Dern, gonna have replace some furniture.

Outback Porsche 03-16-2015 03:01 PM

Morning all.

Well, I survived another wedding. Missus had a great time. She thought it was fun coz she thought I was dancing with her. I was just going to the bar for another beer and my boots were a bit wobbly after having a skin full of the best beer in the world.

Off to Perth today to spend some time with our son.

GH85Carrera 03-16-2015 03:02 PM

Did they take your old furniture or do you just want some new?
