When I was in high school a girl sitting on my lap did not require any quarters, socks or potatoes for her to feel like there were quarters, socks or potatoes.

We always went parking after the game to accommodate the driver.

The quarters were not a planned thing at all. It was my concession money for the game. They just happened to be in the right place at the right time to get things started.

good friends!

The band was quite the party group. The saxophone section drank iced down gatorade back when it was only the green stuff and spiked it with tequila. The band chaperones would check all those drinking cokes for alcohol in their drinks. But never checked our gatorade despite us eventually singing "wasted away again in margaritavile" as we drank our gatorade margaritas.

We also discovered the local 7-11 icee drinks were not suspect of having been spiked either. Evidently the parents on chaperone duty were not too bright.

Porsche-poor 09-04-2014 10:47 AM

or finding out that you can only drink so much confiscated booze....

RKDinOKC 09-04-2014 10:53 AM

You would think our Margaritas would have been popular if that was the case.

flipper35 09-04-2014 10:55 AM

It was iced tea when I was in band.

Porsche-poor 09-04-2014 10:56 AM

Was never in the band. Dated two band members. maried one of them.

Woohoo, my birthday present to me is "On Vehicle for Delivery!"

It's the cables so I can hook my laptop to my Cayenne ODBII then download and install an ECU update that guarantees 35 more hp by remappng fuel and ignition maps and gets better drivability and gas mileage by remapping the drive by wire accelerator pedal.

Anxious to see what I get on the butt dyno.

A boy and his toys!

Got screwed over by band parents and racial fears so spent senior year partying and only focused on music enough to get a scholarship for college out of it. Got last chair from the pudd director they brought in, but somehow ended up first chair in both all-state and tri-state, stupid a hole band parents. They didn't just screw music for me, but also their own kids.

Still have my Selmur Alto Sax I bought for $750 new with my lawn mowing money when in 10th grade. Looked it up the other day and it's worth $6K.

Porsche-poor 09-04-2014 11:39 AM

hey Richard have you ever seen the myth busters show where they take a part a 928 and put the body on backwards? I cringe when I see it.

flipper35 09-04-2014 12:09 PM

You would think they could have used a 924 instead of a real Porsche.

As a testament to how unhealthy the food is here, for the entire time we were on vacation I did not gain weight eating out. The food here is cheap. $2.00 for a full lunch. Fortunately it keeps the residents from losing weight.

We ate out, but never fast food on vacation. Well, Steak and Shake once. A couple picnic lunches at scenic places.

If Joe is doing Leg day maybe he wants his legs to look like that!

I suspect he just wants to borrow those for the evening.
