Thanks for the B-day wishes.

My wife's b-day is 3 days before mine plus two years. So for two days she is 3 years older than me. I get to give her some grief about it. Not too much since I have to be nice to get my b-day present. ;)

HHI944 11-10-2014 08:54 AM

Happy b-day ya ol' farts!

flipper35 11-10-2014 09:04 AM

When farts get old do they still stink? :)

GH85Carrera 11-10-2014 09:21 AM

Nope. Never.

HHI944 11-10-2014 09:24 AM

I'll defer to the old fart's judgment on this one! :p

HHI944 11-10-2014 09:26 AM

Ugh, muck fonday. ...

I just want to go back to bed.....or maybe to the range......or the bar...

flipper35 11-10-2014 09:28 AM

OK, I was worried about that lunch thing. We would have had to cross the Mississippi to eat with the hog farmers. They wouldn't notice. :)

I hope your wife had a good one as well. At least you can treat each other to the same dinner/movie night that close together.

I keep telling the missus they smell like crushed rose petals, and she keeps saying weird stuff like 'nope', and 'you're full of 5hit'. I can't understand her.

Happy birthday to you too Pete.

Hey, after my last colonoscopy my MD. type real doctor-internist came in and told me had injected air and I was SUPPOSED to fart. He did not put a time limit on that so I am under Dr.s orders to let em rip. I would never disobey a Dr. orders. I figure those orders are good to obey until my next colonoscopy.

That is my story and I am sticking to it.

I hate stability control. Yes, I wanted to drift wide there and you just killed my momentum.

Jeff, I have a pic to go with your "selfie".

Everyone else should close their eyes.

flipper35 11-10-2014 12:38 PM

Everyone has been warned about the bikini

She would like to show you around if you visit the states. :D

My 85 911 and 86 El Camino have none of them fancy traction gizmos. No ABS, not traction control or stability control. It is just up to the driver. Someday I should drive a newer car on the track and find out what it is like to have an electronic nanny.

HHI944 11-10-2014 01:15 PM

Mmmmmm, early dinner.... 3/4lb grass fed burger, smothered in a jalepeno and blue cheese version of pimento, on a fresh hearth baked bun.

flipper35 11-10-2014 01:37 PM

Dinner at Joe's!

Glen, the nanny sucks. It is a very jarring experience. At first I thought there was something wrong with the car, then I realized it turned into having mom ride with me electronically.

My grandmother only gave me one comment when mom and dad got a new sports car and I took her for a ride. She didn't care how fast we went, but it had to stay on the pavement.

We had a phone call from some company that once again has the poor secretary calling and reading the specs right from the sheet. It sounds like they have some huge out of state company trying to convince them that no one in Oklahoma can possibly do the job to the specs and they need to hire the "experts" from out of town. The crazy thing is we have flow jobs for that client since the 60s, yet they seem to want to believe only "experts" from out of town can do it. They want 1mm resolution aerials of the site. We did not blink. We have done it before but is is so expensive it is very rare.

We will be happy to take their money and we can make it at a profit since the job is just a few miles from the airport. The out of state company will have to fly several hundred miles out of the way unless they are already in town doing a job.

One mm resolution will make some sort of giant crazy resolution files but is no skin off of us. As a reference most high resolution stuff is 3 or 4 inch resolution. If they want 0.03937008 inch resolution just whip out that check book because it is gonna cost ya.

It will look cool but I don't know why they would want something that high res. I guess they want to count the dirt clods and rocks on the nails used on a roof project.

azzarule 11-10-2014 05:26 PM

so Richard, did you spend lots of money, did you have a good time, did you take any real photos?

RKDinOKC 11-10-2014 06:20 PM

You probably wouldn't like them, they are all butt photos

Mine was the fastest car at the event! 80 Porsches each within 5 car lengths of each other and me in my Cayenne was the one that got pulled over for speeding. When the officer asked if I knew why he pulled ME over, I didn't say "Because the lead car is using my radar detector."

At the car show Sunday I won the big door prize. A full set of Koni Reds!

azzarule 11-10-2014 06:29 PM

lol, did they make you go on the end
