I'm thinking that something around 1:8 scale would be best for hauling a target stand around....shouldn't be too hard to make some form of stand attach to the top of it once I have something appropriate size and power.

Hey D, check PSA if you're thinking about building another AR. I stopped by the store to grab some $6/box federal xm193 and some of the AR deals are crazy....they had uppers w/o bcg for 180 and bcg's for 60...... Built lowers from 130-170

Well, the droid turbo is apparently as durable as claimed.....slipped out of my hand and fell down a flight if stairs.....not a single scratch or crack

Howdy insomniac

GH85Carrera 11-30-2014 06:55 AM

Howdy Ya'll.

Yesterday was good off day today is back to slave labor. Gonna mow the yard for the final 2014 trim. We have a ton more leaves to take up before I can mow. It looks like all the neighbors came over with their leaves and dumped them in our yard.

porsche4life 11-30-2014 07:22 AM

Put the catch bag on the mower... Multitask!

GH85Carrera 11-30-2014 12:21 PM

Sid, I did. I have 15.5 bags and not little bags, the 55 gallon drum liners. Phew.

Now I am doing an oil change and lube job on the Elky. I am glad I get to sit down now.

It was 75 yesterday. The high today was 60 something. It has been getting colder all afternoon. Winter is returning :(.

Rick V 11-30-2014 01:56 PM

F winter

azzarule 11-30-2014 04:35 PM

temps here are around the mid 60s early 70s wow.

When I drove up to Reagan on Wednesday it was snowing, now I need sunscreen, wtf.

Well that was a nice weekend away, only place of note was visiting KittyHawk and the Wright Bros memorial site. Really a great place to go, not much to see really, but just being there was cool, especially since I am RAAFie, it was cool.

It is still amazing that it was just over 100 years ago that aircraft became common.

My great grandmother passed about thirty years ago at the ripe old age of 104. Can you imagine what she saw develop that we have always known, like airplanes and the light bulb

RKDinOKC 12-01-2014 12:59 AM

Did ya go on the wagon?

Been three weeks since my vacation where I did hoist quite a few. I'm just an occasional drinker.
All I have in the house now is some buttershots for making hot chocolate to warm up with when and if I have to do anything outside in the cold and I remember it's there.
