Morning Y'all,
Looks like we got a little dusting last night but managed to escape the storm. Yeah.

pete3799 01-27-2015 05:05 AM

I've got to plow for the town so set the alarm for 3am....nothing. Went back to bed. 5am...... nada.
Just starting to snow now. Wind is picking up too.

Good Morning.

Looks like this is the end of the world.
It is January, temps today will get into the 70's here in Oklahoma,
AND Glen is home sick!

Hope everyone is prepared for the Zombie Apothecary or whatever it's called.

porsche4life 01-27-2015 08:29 AM

Morning guys... Thuy has to work in Prescott the next two days. So I drove up with her in the 944. Going to meet up with Tevake soon and go enjoy some twisty mountain roads!

HHI944 01-27-2015 08:41 AM

Friggin 40° here....this crap is not OK in my book...

RKDinOKC 01-27-2015 08:44 AM

Oh man, I knew something was amiss. I don't have no Book to check to see if anything is OK or not.

Glen sick? I thought he doesn't get sick? It isn't the measles I hope.

Our week.

Said he gots that Flu thing. It must be very viral if it got to Glen.

All my family members households have been down with it the last 3 weeks. Glad they don't visit.

flipper35 01-27-2015 09:05 AM

Well that sucks. I would send him some soup, but as you see it would be quite cold by the time it got there.

Are you sending him some of your special recipe garlic and cayenne soup?

RKDinOKC 01-27-2015 09:08 AM

Nothing personal, but I ain't getting close to a sickie.

porsche4life 01-27-2015 09:12 AM

The flu is wicked this year in OK it sounds like. My dad got it, luckily my mom got the shot and was able to avoid it. Would be very bad for her this year!

You need to make a third person drop.

Glen, get better soon.

azzarule 01-27-2015 10:07 AM

well we only had about 1/2 inch of the white stuff, and they called a bloody snow day for school, what a bunch of pussies

RKDinOKC 01-27-2015 10:08 AM

Besides chicken broth with garlic powder and cayenne pepper there is...

French bread garlic toast with lots of butter and LOTS of garlic, mozzarella cheese helps the garlic go down if it is too strong.

Pop Corn with lots of butter and salt, and of course Garlic Powder.

Also Hawiian Pizza, ham and pineapple, with lots of red pepper flakes on it.

The red pepper is only if you have a sore throat.

Garlic Powder is a major antiseptic that kills off the bugs. If you can smell the garlic in your sweat you got enough of it, :)

Discovered all this one time when I was frustrated with it taking so long for the antibiotics to kill the bug off. The chicken broth helps to guide your white blood cells to congregate where they are needed instead of just all over your body. That is what the feeling achey all over is, your white blood cells. The cayenne or red pepper is the highest natural concentration of vitamin C, and is acidic enough to help stop the bug from multiplying. The Garlic Powder is a natural antiseptic that when in powder form makes it past your digestive system and into your blood stream to help fight off the bug.

The popcorn, toast, etc. are just the vehicles I like to get as much garlic in my system as I can.
