Oh Haha 04-12-2015 05:46 AM

Morning.

Off to get coffee and donuts. Why yes, we ARE taking the 911!! :D

Gonna handwash the wifeymobile today and probably work in the yard some. It's the last day of break for the kids so we'll probably go for a bike ride at some point. or play catch. or go for a walk. or....

Man, I'd better get going.

I messed up and let the insurance laps on the 911 so until I get that straightened out Lanna is stationary. I still have to put the new meats on her first, Lord knows we don't to do any more driving around on RA1 slicks

We just got back from playing tourist and checking out the cherry blossoms. Two and a half hour walk down to and around the Tidal Basin and back. Without eating beforehand. Damn...I'm starved!

HA! the tags are on the way for the monster stomper, I will be able to drive it legally on the road and not have to check to see what cops are on duty first.
Oh yeah

I spent yesterday under a blanket shivering from a 100 degree temp with no energy to do anything. I did manage to get outside into the beautiful sunshine, and do a few small things but spent the rest of the afternoon watching the Masters at Augusta. (on TV)

Did you see any of the parades? My HS marching band(Port Huron Northern) marched there this weekend. I went there for the same back in 1983.

We didn't get to see the parade, Wayne. I hope your school's band had a great time in DC. BTW, I missed you in '83. :D

Actually, my best friend's daughter is in the color guard. Her Mother went as chaperone and posted pics on FB.

Rick V 04-12-2015 01:03 PM

Que is she hot jokes

Oh Haha 04-12-2015 01:29 PM

Too close to both for me to take notice and no, I am not posting pics. :D

The day is closing fast.

I ended up using the clay bar on the Honda hood and front fenders. I still recommend that one does this method at least once a year on regularly driven vehicles. I'll do the other panels another day.

All 3 vehicles are now nicely clean, at least until it rains again for the DDs.

I use Mequires paint cleaner then follow it up with Mequires paint protector. It is in liquid form and can only be bought at paint supply houses, no flaps. It does a great job.

You presume correctly .....

My driveway thaws out in stages.......the long straight, past the garage, is now firmed up enough to smooth it out with the tractor and back blade........the upper part has now turned to soup. Had trouble making it with the 4x4 pick-up. The lower part so far is ok.

Wife has been down in Boston visiting our daughter at school since yesterday. Not sure if she'll make it through that slop hole when she gets home with the all wheel drive car though.

Rick V 04-12-2015 01:41 PM

Well Pete, mosquito season is right around the corner

pete3799 04-12-2015 01:42 PM

Oh.......and I fired up the 911 today. Can't go anywhere with it ......but it's raring to go.

Rick V 04-12-2015 01:59 PM
