Afternoon Rick. We caught up on 2 months of yard work (lawn service just cuts the grass) and we set up sawhorses in the garage and are painting the interior doors. 76 degrees and a nice easy breeze. Damn awesome day here.

Rick V 04-27-2015 03:36 PM

Stay there JIm, don't come back, it's all fallen apart here and I wouldn't be surprised to it effect your area here.

Jim Richards 04-27-2015 03:39 PM

I don't need much encouragement to stay!

RKDinOKC 04-27-2015 03:42 PM

I don't know. It is still raining and I would have to stand in the rain to see into the barrel.

Rick V 04-28-2015 02:14 AM

pete3799 04-28-2015 02:19 AM

Morn'n.

RKDinOKC 04-28-2015 02:39 AM

What is this thing, sleep?

ckelly78z 04-28-2015 03:44 AM

Sleep is what I get in between the multiple bathroom trips, and coughing fits here lately. Think i'll take a nap today.

GH85Carrera 04-28-2015 06:05 AM

The rain barrel is full capacity. We had 2.5 inches of rain total.

RKDinOKC 04-28-2015 06:09 AM

Wait a minute, I thought you had well water for your yard and plants?

GH85Carrera 04-28-2015 06:58 AM

We do.

But Mrs Carrera decided we needed a rain barrel. Any more questions?

Actually it will be handy for the potted plants on the back porch. Right now she hauls around a pitcher and fills it with city water from the faucet. It takes several trips in and out to refill or bending over at the outdoor faucet. Now just use a hose and let the water flow.

Disable the AD account until they behave.

We have a person at work that has no ability to understand how things work or what is going on. To make a parable, they tell me their car rides rough every time they go down 3rd avenue. I say yes it does because they have the street torn up to repave it. They then proceed to ask me to look at their suspension because the car rides rough on 3rd avenue. I ask if it rides rough any other time and the answer is no so I tell them the reason it rides rough is because they are driving on a rough street. They say ok and can I look at their car since it rides rough every time they go down 3rd avenue and when can I have it fixed. Apply that to an IT environment. I think they intentionally hire people with a lower IQ so they can pay them less.

Oh it is sunny and high 60s low 70s this week and I am stuck inside at work and stuck inside doing a side job for a friend at night. What should have been a couple evenings doing a room with laminate has turned into commercial linoleum planks in one room and carpet tile over a stepped auditorium style room with risers and nosings in another room. Something needs punched today.

Oh, we have had our car for almost a year and I have hit many birds with it for some reason. Today I hit a duck. Loud son of a gun. Came right down across my bow on the four lane. I got down to about 30 before impact. Glad the rest missed me out of the flock or gaggle or whatever duck groups are.

Porsche-poor 04-28-2015 10:21 AM

I hit a sea gull once. busted the head lamp.
