Yesterday at lunch time it was 71 degrees and clear skies. This morning it is 28 and WINDY.

Just for the record, I liked the weather yesterday better. I am sure that same cold front is on the way to Rick.

Sorry to hear that, Markus. I guess winter is quite long where you live. It's too long for me here in DC. That's why we're planning on retiring in SoCal. Similar cost of living but a climate that's hard to beat. :)

One of the things I do for work is make a graphic and a bible verse for the day from the company chaplain that is posted on kiosks throughout the facility. Yesterdays bible verse had to do with victory over death. I used zombies for the background picture for the bible verse. All the bible thumpers got offended and complained. My boss's boss called this morning and told me not to be so creative. LOL. They are afraid of Zombies!

Now someone else is doing the graphic and it's just going to be a picture of an open bible in the background. LOL.

They thought it was neat when I used a picture of Batman when the verse was about God providing the tools for victory over evil. And Superman when it was about providing strength, etc. I was even told by the Chaplain that he like the way my graphics helped bring home the point he was trying to convey. Guess the zombies took it too far.

Zombies are cool. I'm shocked to hear not everyone likes zombies. :eek:

Especially with walking dead being such a popular show.

See if the chaplin will use these bible quotes:

The Chaplain liked the Zombies and told everyone he personally approved them before I posted it. His official Stance was to post s scripture today saying God has power over ALL things, and if anyone asks he has been saying including Zombies.

It is a shame that the knee jerk reaction of those in charge is to go to the same ol boring safe graphic. I am going to ask what they would do if some of the employees complained that the "Word of the Day" is always a bible verse and not quotes from other sources too.

Back when I was in HS a science teach let one of the students put a quote from a famous person on the chalk board every day. Very seldom was his quote from the Bible.
