I can't imagine paying to watch two men fight, well not those two.

Oh Haha 05-02-2015 08:06 PM

No interest in boxing. I don't watch any pro sports except for car racin'.

No kidding. Our broker just got back from Vegas on Thursday. He said rooms at the nugget were going for $600/ night this weekend. The MGM would set you back $1200. I think I heard something like $300k for ringside seats?

I like watching fighting when there is some sort of slippery goo involved that makes the female participant wear bikinis and there is a high probability of a wardrobe malfunction.

We went to Torquefest in Dubuque. Interesting to watch the old cars go around the dirt track but there wasn't much variety at the show. Hundreds of cars but it was like they were all done by Boyd Coddington. Some rat rods and some regular cars. A couple of the old flat head race cars with Offy heads were interesting.

I get to babysit our servers because some people don't understand the performance is going to degrade when SQL does it's maintenance and when you have it scheduled for every week it will degrade every week yet I get to come in and watch the servers to see why the performance degrades every Sunday morning? I think Monday morning my boss and I will be having a little talk with management in the other building.

Do you deliver?

RKDinOKC 05-03-2015 03:02 AM

Nothing like the old Darryl Starbird car shows of the 70's eh. He always had some wild customs to go with the rods...

Now they are all in a museum here in Oklahoma.

My lazy day just went sideways. The son has a dead car and figuring it out is above his pay grade. Looks like I am gonna have to do some thinking today.
Bummer

Well at least you can just point and grunt and have his do the work. Hopefully it is a easy fix.

Rick V 05-03-2015 09:07 AM

Oh yeah, I am just gonna point, and say do this, what is the reading. I already know what is wrong with the car but I am going to run him through the diagnostic procedure. He isn't gonna learn much where he is working so I will learn him.

RKDinOKC 05-03-2015 10:14 AM

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!

Oh Haha 05-03-2015 01:07 PM

Glen-I responded to your part needed thread. Hopefully, I can help you out.

Took a drive in the 911 after my daughter came back from her sleepover last night. Changed the oil in the Odyssey and washed the accumulated bugs off the front end from the trip to the East side of MI yesterday.

I have 2 nice steaks marinating in goodness for cooking on the barbie(Hi Jeff!!) later. Cooking some chicken boobies for the wife as she doesn't eat steak.

It's been a great Sunday so far..
