Slobber.

One of the cars for sale at the dealers introduction of the new 911 was a 718 Spyder. One guy that showed up bought it on the spot. He told them to have it ready the next day at the dealership and he would write a check. He is the same guy that brought his Aston Martin Zagato to the car show and the autocross. It sounded like the old non turbo charged F1 cars. It was sweet. Oh ya, he brought a 959 to the car show once.

That looks delightfully therapeutic. Where's my bat?

pete3799 04-17-2016 04:53 PM

Probably in your trailer.
Heard anything on it?

Jim Richards 04-17-2016 05:03 PM

Hahaha! Good one, Pete.

The trailer was recovered...empty. Oh well. :(

HHI944 04-17-2016 05:49 PM

Damn, that sucks....sorry.

HHI944 04-17-2016 05:50 PM

Woohoo for me. I'm supposed to do my evaluation this week and currently I can't breath or keep any food down. This is gonna be a fun week.

Mom said one of her gauges had 2.5", the other had 4" this morning. Soo...

Hahaha. Cheers Peter, that's exactly how I felt all day.

RKDinOKC 04-18-2016 02:11 AM

Luckily, there are no baseball bats in my house. Very tempting at times.

GH85Carrera 04-18-2016 05:58 AM

Good Morning all. A rainy Monday morning here.

I guess my brain is just too logical. I have never once even for a second thought about smashing my equipment with a bat. I just take it apart and fix it if possible or replace it. I may cuss at the computer, but smashing it is just stupid.

RKDinOKC 04-18-2016 06:39 AM

Built a lot of plastic models as a kid. My collection usually got thinned out around the Fourth of July when I was old enough to have fireworks. They blowed up real good.

GH85Carrera 04-18-2016 06:52 AM

Oh we blew up some models and plastic Army men wit fireworks. We never were allowed to keep a model during a move, and we moved all the time. The models were either going in the trash, or we had fun destroying them.

That is a lot different than getting mad at a computer because it did not do what you wanted, it did what you told it to do, or it did nothing at all. Maybe that is why I am typing this on a 12 year old computer and it is one of the "newer" computers. At least it the two computers running Win 2000 are not something I use often.

Good Morning Everyone, it has been a long time.

Porsche-poor 04-18-2016 07:31 AM

Rain? What is this foul stuff you speak of. We are in the middle of 4 days sans rain with temps pushing 80. Wednesday the rain comes back.

Morning all.

GH85Carrera 04-18-2016 08:15 AM

We are all happy to see the rain. It had been a while since we had some good rain. Things were real dry. We are still a little behind normal.

Last year was the wettest or second wettest depending on who they believe and what part of the state they live in. No doubt it was wet last year.
