Yep, Mythbusters tested that as well and came to the same conclusion. It does help with pain.

Visited a weird cousin that has an exotic animal rescue sanctuary in Mississippi. Slept on the couch in the living room. Woke up to a horse sniffing and licking my face. I freaked. Horse nostrils, lips, tongue, and teeth in your face is not something you want to unexpectedly wake up to. Especially when the evening before I noticed one of the mountain lions was always watching me, and my cousin said I looked like the guy that abused him with a weed eater. She also said the horse liked me to wake me up licking my face.
My cousin is the founder in this video and the cougar shown as her first cat is the one that kept staring at me. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/YRGzMnAOziM?rel=0&showinfo=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> My cousin, Kay used to get in the cages with the big cats and play with them. She stopped only after a tiger broke her arm playing a little too rough. |
That is a crazy cat lady on steroids. ^^^^

She dislikes and distrusts men so somehow all the cats do too. All of her staff are "women."
When her mom, my mom's sister got in bad health she moved my aunt to her sanctuary to take care of her. Before the move my Mom and her Mom called and talked at least once a week and went to stay with each other at least twice a year. That stopped happening after she moved my aunt in with her. I tried many times to get in touch with my cousin to see what could be done to improve the sister's communication and arrange a visit. She wouldn't answer any of my calls, emails, or letters, but I still get the sanctuaries monthly newsletter asking for money to support the cats. @!$#ing Dykes |
Cats that big should not be trusted any way. One day they might decided to have a little something extra for dinner.

Yep, that sounds like a typical crazy cat lady. There was a house in the Ski Island area that the lady had several hundred cats. None of them were "fixed" so she was having tons of kittens. The neighbors were have a real problem with the stink and cats everywhere. Finally the city moved in and flat condemned the house after men in space suits went inside and looked around. They bulldozed the house and now it is a neighborhood park and garden. I don't remember what happened to the lady.
At least your cousin is running a decent looking place. I hope she is having those cats fixed. |
Yep the local University Student Vets Fix all the new arrivals.
She bought land and was going to open a casino to support the sanctuary. The good 'ol boy mafia kept her from doing it. Besides attempted murder (she was run off the road twice) they bought all the land around hers so there was no access to it. And there was someone sneaking in at night a cutting the cages open so the big cats could get out. Luckily all her big cats stayed in their cages. |
off to see the doc this afternoon. 96 hours of a headache is enough. time for some help.

One of my friends that worked on an offshore drilling rig made a ton of money in a short time. He was gone to the rig for 6 weeks at a time. He called his wife and told her to put the bed to the kitchen to save a lot of time. He was hungry for home cooked food and one other thing.

What's that?

Good Friday morning.
TGIF |
Morning, Glen. Yeah, I'm glad it's Friday. Allergies are kicking my butt and I need a couple of days rest.
Next weekend is Labor Day. It looks like Fall is right around the corner. |
Oh maaaan, thought it was Friday all day yesterday. Today feels like Deja vu only everything is completely different.
|
Better to have two Fridays than two Mondays
