The 6mm isn't much bigger at .244 instead of .223 and 80gr and they work just fine on deer. I have seen the wound channel go the full lnght of a large whitetail from front to back. You lose a little speed on yours but I think it will do fine on any hog up to several hundred pounds. Guys in Texas use AR platforms all the time but I can only assume they are 5.56/.223 judging by the recoil in the video. Shot placement will be a little more critical than a 150-180gr 30 caliber round but I think you have that handled. Everyone around here says the feral hogs are much tastier than domestic.

Ya know, I think that 30-30 was louder than my 30-06. I am not going to complain about the shot for a 13 year old. She had a chance for a couple up close but they weren't very big. While she was desperate to get a deer she said she didn't want to shoot a puppy. Hers was 2-3 year old.

Morning all SmileWavy

Awake at bloody sparrow fart - that'll learn me to go to bed early

Sharyns cousin's eldest whipper snapper was picked up by Essendon in last night's AFL draft. Whole families a little excited for him.

Porsche-poor 11-24-2015 11:10 AM

not sure what that is but if they are happy then congrats to the whipper!

Afternoon gents. Spent last night rolling up and down the hall on my new scaffold taping and painting. Slowly making progress on repainting the house. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/11...aa04338fde.jpg

You missed a spot Sid.

The new roll of paper came in and I have it printing 120 square feet of prints. If that was an apartment in NYC it would sell for over a hundred grand.

Here is one that is 450 square feet and it sold for $469 grand. Over a grand per square foot. The four prints are MUCH cheaper but ya can't live in em.

So are you going to start printing houses Glen?

Sid, do you have the young'uns push you while you paint? Seems like it should go quicker.

Painting

We can buy media that is "wallpaper" and designed to be hung on a wall. Again, not our market.

flipper35 11-24-2015 12:33 PM

Nah, just print the floor, walls and ceiling and paste it on some cardboard and you have a modular home.. Sell it for 1/4 the price and you will be making money hand over fist.

When I had an office at the company I was planning to take really good picture of my Boxster S and then have Glen print it Actual size and put it on the 14 ft wide blank wall in my office. My brother heard about it and told me I couldn't put a big picture of my car on his wall.

Siblings can be such a pain!

My spam filter rejects a lot of message, but it does mark questionable messages by adding SPAM: to the beginning of the subject and my server automatically moves those messages to my Junk Mail folder and deletes them after 14 days.

My Junk Mail folder typically has around 130 messages in it at any give time. I've noticed in the past week there has been a HUGE increase in the marked spam messages in my Junk Mail folder. It currently has 482 messages in it. I'm still only getting one or two spam messages to my inbox.

It must be getting close to the Christmas shopping season.

Mmmmm, spam. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/anwy2MPT5RE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Brother does run the company. And because I am the brother and not a son, I get am the example of them not showing family favoritism but none of the stock options.

When I was driving the Boxster newer employees would comment that they thought I must be being paid a lot because I was a family member and driving a Porsche. I would tell them I was single with no ex's or child support and their attitude would immediately do a 180. Then they would ask why I wasn't driving a more expensive car. LOL.

Just got back from doing leash work with Pepper. Noticed that when we go someplace new she walks right beside me. A couple of more days and we can move to the 6 ft leash. She LOVES it. "Lets go work on your leash" is the most exciting thing I can say to her now. I may even venture over to the local dog park to see how she does around all the other people and dogs.

The company I work for gives each employee a free 13 to 15 lb turkey every year for Thanksgiving. This year you had to sign up if you wanted one so they wouldn't waste money on extra turkeys that they were just giving to the food bank in the past.

Today they passed out the turkeys. A couple of people noticed the Turkeys have December 2014 stamped on them. The company put up notices and sent out emails telling everyone the date on the turkey is the date the turkeys were packaged and frozen, not the expiration date. LOL.

Rick V 11-24-2015 03:16 PM

Evening Y'all,
I used to get a turkey every year from the places I worked and a ham for Christmas, I think this year it is gonna be a not happening and I am good with that. Just being Beth and I we don't need a full bird
