Well, the sun was out this afternoon and it didn't seem to affect the moron patrol one bit. Took two hours to go to the grocery store 2.7 miles away. Usually only takes one.

I have gotten so used to not having to leave the little town I live in, I went to Charlottesville this weekend and was about to slap a few people silly.

Most of the bars are outdoors or all the walls open up so you're pretty much outside anyway.

Well, that's my working day over. All this way for a 3 hour course. Time for some sight seeing before happy hour.

The hotel's not too bad for someone else's dollar. They've given me a one bedroom suite with harbour views. Their definition of harbour views is a little different to mine.

Be careful on those icey bridges. Mom's cousin's oldest son passed no very long after her cousin. He was driving to help his mom deal with his dad passing a month after the funeral. The roads were fine except for the bridges. Had a terminal accident on an icey bridge. Cousin was Art Professor at OU, his son was Architecture Professor at Rice.

Pepper is still a puppy, she barked at those fireworks tonight. Not gun shy I would say.

Got informed while on vacation I needed to get a physical and have some paperwork with the results and my docs signature turned in to our HR department or I will lose my health insurance premium discount. Got the physical last week and doc said he would get the results and fax the form Monday (the deadline) to the HR people. Told him that monday was the deadline or I would lose my insurance premium discount next year. He said it was no problem. The form (made by our HR staff) did not have a fax number on it so my docs staff mailed it Monday (the deadline) and the HR people did not get the form by the deadline. Next year I get to pay $100 more per month for my health insurance premium. The only good thing is I passed my physical with everything within the healthy limits, Blood Pressure, Good and Bad Cholesterol, and even my A1C blood sugar. Not bad for a bearded fat man missing a toe.
