Yea, the parking lot is full of Boxsters and Caymans. There is an nice 67S 911 my car and a 993 so just three air-cooled cars. The rest are water pumpers. I think it is neat to see all Porsches. Most of the other condo units have a few tow vehicles, a trailer or at least a rental car.

We are off to see Lake Champlain and the surrounding areas. Tonight is the Concours dinner.

Hurry up Friday for me

Friday is not gonna be TGIF for us. We will start the LONG trip home on Friday morning. Nothing like 700 to 800 miles of boring interstates per day for a couple of days. We hope to have a short drive day on Sunday.

The inland outback roads are flooded, we're gunna have to go the long way round. 800km to Boulia just became 1700km.

Drove my 914 down a street one time that ended up going thru 1 ft of water going in the opposite direction I was. It came up over the hood And up over the windshield. Went for an entire block like that. It felt like I had submerged. Guess the fact I was moving forward and the water was coming at me the engine and everything stayed dry and was able to make it.

Glen, seeing your pictures form the trip is a real eye opener. Pete always seemed like a good guy, other than dragging snow down to Rick. I never realized he had gone to the dark (car color) side.
