morning all. I hope you get all the problems worked out.
The brake rotors and headlights were just not anything I was expecting. Had the local shop do a typical PPI to see what I was going to need to address. They found a couple of small things to put the engine and drivetrain in tip top shape that I had them take care of but didn't find the brake and headlights issues. The brakes and headlights worked fine until I started putting some miles on it.
Driving the S the last couple of days in the heat I really noticed a big difference between the 2 zone AC and the 4 zone AC. The 4 zone AC in the turbo is a LOT more comfortable, much quicker to cool off, and the fans don't run as much or at as high speed (noisy) all the time like on the S. |
I'd call the shop and let them know what they missed.
Oh they know. They are the shop doing the work now. And helping to find cheaper parts. The headlight harness wire was a common thing they thought would fix it.

Electrical gremlins always suck.

I helped at the middle school for pictures this morning. What a clustermuck! The elementary kids are much easier to corral and they follow directions better.
and as a bonus, my son ALMOST acknowledged me when he came to get his picture taken. almost:rolleyes: |
Was riding up on a ski lift. Below me was about 10 small kids on skis and a couple of instructors. The kids were kind of scattered in an area. All in snow plow position and all facing different directions. Overheard one of the girls say..."Okay everyone get in a line." Kids did not move. Then, "Does anyoneknow what a line is?" Almost fell off the lift laughing.
Well there are lines and then there are straight lines. There are ships curves and French curves as well.
There were lines on the mirror, lines on her face...
Life in the fast Lane. Good song.
oh yeah those lines to!!!!

My mother volunteered a LOT at the OKC zoo. She had the highest number of hours volunteered for many years. She often had to deal with a school class or even large families. She had succesfully managed to raise my brother and myself into adulthood and we never get arrested!
She did not put up with any kid anywhere getting out of line. She had her Docent uniform and she knew how to use it. She even told some adults to straighten up and act right. She often had to line up a group of kid to greet them and get their full attention. She had some funny stories and some of the kids and parents essentially got a time out. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1474567116.jpg She called this gorilla one my sister. |
looks just like you......or not.
Hmmm...both have hairy chins.
then again this could be one of his baby pictures.
Well my feet don't look just like my hands. And I don't have that much hair on my arms.
