Good morning guys.

I don't think my 911 smoke problem is mechanical engine thing like vale guides. I will have to get educated in the tech forum some more.

At the autocross the car sat in the COLD for over 2 hours. It fired up and did not smoke at all. I heard the kazoo buzzing sound from the engine area a couple of times. On the parade lap I heard a lot of the buzzing. That is when the smoke started. The engine was not even warmed up for my first lap so I short shifted at 4,000 RPM. After that lap the engine was as warm as it was going to get. No more smoke for the day. Now I need to edit that a little and post it in the 911 tech forum. :D

Evening guys.

pete3799 12-06-2010 06:10 PM

Well the snow has arrived home with me.
Still snowing down there Rick?

porsche4life 12-06-2010 08:36 PM

Shaddup about the snow! We have a chance here tomorrow, which means it will bury Glens house if the past is any indicator. Seems like if we get a little precip here, they get a mountain there.

Snow is not that horrible, as long as you're gliding over it....
Driving through it is no fun though.

Geronimo '74 12-06-2010 11:06 PM

I'll have to wait about half a year before I plant my ass on a beach again...
Winter, snow, summer, beach, in that order.

slodave 12-06-2010 11:09 PM

Out here, I can wake up early (okay, not easy for me), go surf for a bit, off to the airport ,fly to the mountains and ski, then fly home in time to catch the evening surf and dinner. In bed by 2300.:)

Geronimo '74 12-06-2010 11:12 PM

And go panning for gold the next day....

In theory I could the same, but I'll have to go for an indoor ski piste...
(and I could pan for gold all day, but I won't find didley squat...)

slodave 12-06-2010 11:33 PM

I could do that too. :D

Well here, this time of year I can get up freeze my nads off, drive to the ocean and freeze my nads off again, then drive back here and go skiing, and freeze my nads off, and come home.
I mean morning guys

Geronimo '74 12-07-2010 02:06 AM

Morning Rick.

do you have to re-attach the nads after you freeze them off? Or do you freeze off a new pair each time??
:)

Rick V 12-07-2010 02:08 AM

I have remarkable starfish like qualities. :) I am married I have to be able to grow new nads. :)
