Finally home... Gawd it was a long day....

GH85Carrera 12-16-2010 06:22 PM

Good evening fellers.

It was horrible at work late this afternoon. I was trying to finish up a customer job and ANOTHER customer walked in without calling first. Then the phone rang. I had to WORK hard for over 30 minutes. It was taxing but I managed to pull it off.

It was past 4:35 before I could go home for the day. Whew.

slodave 12-16-2010 06:24 PM

And here I though I had it rough getting up at 2.30 in the afternoon. I feel for ya Glen.

GH85Carrera 12-16-2010 06:44 PM

It interrupted my Pelican time :)

We are a small group. We work very well together. It is amazing how much we can get done when we have real work to do. The job I was working on to deliver in time was a job that they did not call about until very late. I should have said "it will be ready tomorrow" but what the heck, bust ass and they can get it in a few hours.

The customer actually called and expected that we had the prints of one particular 1/4 section of land printed and ready for 1951, 1975 & 1985. We would have to have a warehouse like the one at the end of the first Indiana Jones to have every possible piece of property from each year at the proper scale printed and ready.

Dave, our pilot was in Texas yesterday flying a job. We have a non turbo Cessna 206. The pilot was at 16,500 feet flying a job. There was a very low pressure weather system in the area. He had a major head wind and at one point saw 38 knots ground speed. He would turn 180 degrees for the next flight line and then see 190 knots. Not much fun for that flight.

Travis, as the FNG you need to know that we have a tradition of posting pic of beautifull women. You'll need to pick up that habit in order to gain full acceptance....;)
(It used to be women's asses but we've expanded to hot chicks in general..)

Morning Rick...

In order to receive any leftovers, you do need to participate in the tradition as soon as it is Friday at your end of the world. :p
