Morning, Rick!

Rick V 01-17-2011 01:26 AM

Morning Dave, Glad to see your still alive. Seems your absence was noticed yesterday.

slodave 01-17-2011 01:27 AM

Open bars can be cruel.

Rick V 01-17-2011 01:28 AM

OUCH!
Man I don't miss those days

slodave 01-17-2011 01:29 AM

Avoided the ouch. Just felt like hiding from the day! :D

Rick V 01-17-2011 01:31 AM

I tried to do that this weekend, it didn't work, they kept finding me

slodave 01-17-2011 01:35 AM

Put a pillow over your head. Always fakes them out.

Rick V 01-17-2011 01:38 AM

Actually there are a few heads I would like to put pillows over...........................

slodave 01-17-2011 01:42 AM

I guess there's that too. :D

Rick V 01-17-2011 01:45 AM

Picked up an old Compaq lappy from dad last night, and what a slow assed pig this thing is. I am thinking this is going to be another Linux unit just so it will be able to do something before the updates expire.

slodave 01-17-2011 01:47 AM

Ouch! Now that can be painful.

Rick V 01-17-2011 01:53 AM

Naw, I am amazed at how little it takes to run Linux, I have a couple of computers running it.

slodave 01-17-2011 02:00 AM

;)

Been hearing running water in the wall for hours now. Wondering if the the pipes finally gave from the crappy re-pipe of '07.

Rick V 01-17-2011 02:02 AM

Better check the "I hate plumbing" thread. :)

slodave 01-17-2011 02:07 AM

Who cares about the pipes.

Got my 20 year old guitar back in shape. After I rewired it last month, I lost the tone. Found out I soldered a wire wrong. Fixed that, plus added a cap that Wolfe sent me. Sounds pretty good.

Rick V 01-17-2011 02:11 AM

No more buzzing I take it?

slodave 01-17-2011 02:14 AM

A tiny bit, but not as bad as before. As it should be. I need to get a new pickup ring. The current is a 1/4", slanted. Made for a LP shape. I need a straight 1/2". It'll survive for now. I'm going to fix a number of things after I get the LP clone finished.

Rick V 01-17-2011 02:22 AM

I'm going to start calling you The Axe Man

slodave 01-17-2011 02:33 AM

I'd respond to that! :D

GH85Carrera 01-17-2011 05:33 AM

Good morning guys.

It's Monday right?
