All y'all have way to much fun.
No way to much fun is someone moving the toys around and deleting the files after I am done.
Key word: After
Bingo. I fixed most of it yesterday only to open it this morning and the xrefs are not attached and a few have been deleted. If I worked in the same office as the person who did it....................
We have nice weather on tap for today and Saturday. Temps in the 60s, and clear skies.
Then winter comes back for February. It starts off on Sunday, with cold temps, as a February preview, and gets worse. Possible ice and snow and crappy looking weather for all of next week. February is always our worst month. Fortunately it is the shortest month. |
Morning all. They are predicting cold temps here with lows in the 20's with possible flurries. Not a good weekend.
More snow here today.
Yuck white fluffy crap
Bright and sunny now. Go figure.
Morning all. It's a brisk 23 out here at the office.
I miss the Saturday weather already. We cleaned the filters on the pond and I did not even have a jacket on. This morning at dawn we had a thunder-sleet storm. The streets turned white in 3 or 4 minutes. 17 degrees and windy. I ain't going outside until this evening when I have to take the trash to the curb. I may just skip that tasks as we only have one kitchen bag of trash in the wheelie bin and lots of room for more trash and can wait until next week.
I do not blame you. I didn't want to leave my car with its heated seats and steering wheel and thats only for 50' walk to inside the building.
My commute down the hall was unaffected by the weather.
Our driveway has a decent slope from down to the street. If it is slick, getting a trash car down there without me falling is a challenge. Getting it back up is even tougher. We can likely go a full month and still have room in the trash cans. No major push to risk injury. |
Well, we only got about 6" over two separate events. Was out the first day in tennis shoes with the snow blower. Second day was out with my safety shoes as they have better traction on the slicker parts.
Wife wanted to go get a new printer stand with proper storage for her work printer. Ended up buying a rug also. Then had cake and ice cream for the daughter's 21st birthday that was actually on the 19th. She was spoon shopping her birthday weekend. We put 414 miles on that day. She had ice cream on the way home though! :) |
snow and ice cream? Not a combination I want to have.
Here in WI it is ice cream no matter the weather.
In those temps I prefer mine heated and melted so it can be called a drink.
Just eat the ice cream in a room in the house. It is usually room temperature inside. Ice cream is fine then. ;)

My spam volume has had a large drop off. Not sure why, and I sure an NOT complaining. I have been using rules to automatically delete some, and the junk filter on a lot of the ones that still got through.
Now for whatever reason most of them are offers of business loans for low rates. I honestly can't fathom why I would want to get a loan from stranger on the internet. Sure, I will give you all my business details, yea right, sure that's the ticket. I have a real bank, and human banker I can talk to eyeball to eyeball. And second, I want a loan almost as much as I want a mistress or maybe an old rusty British car like a Minor or a Austin, or maybe skin cancer. Hard pass on all of those. |
I had an interesting one this weekend. I got an email from a travel booking site about an order for a taxi pick up in Mumbai. Well not wanting to go there and having not booked anything I tried to log into the site with the email. What do you know there is an account set up. I told it I forgot my password, reset it, set up two factor ident, canceled the taxi then deleted the account. Later today I checked and the email address is no longer valid. I also used a new password not associated to anything I already have.
We shall see how this plans out. |
