Crap. 80 on Wednesday already.
Last Saturday was fun. Got up at 6am hit the road by 6:30, drove to Eugene, dropped off a bike and had breakfast then drive home. Eight hours of driving but all good music aka not sharing the radio.
So you drove 8 hours to drop of a bike? I presume for repairs or something. Now you get to go fetch it?
Oh I left that part out. I had the pedal bike fixed up here and took it to the kid at college. So unless its stolen I won't have to replace it.
OK, that makes more sense. I wondered if there was no local bike shops in Tacoma. ;)
I hope you brought him a good bike lock as well. |
Her. But yeah I think so. Nice long cable lock. The interesting part is that the wife bought the bike in 1986 to attend the same college. It's now back on campus.
Only now it will be transporting the rider to places your wife never went, and few place it has been before.
very true.

Today is mow the yard day, again.
Our old propane grill was 20 years old and the burners were rusted out and it was old and tired. I literally pushed it to the curb in the front yard. Yesterday was large trash pickup day, and the city will pick up the large items like appliances and water heaters, or just bulky items. Someone "stole" it before the trash guys got to it, which is what I was hoping for. It will get recycled or rebuilt and not just go to the landfill. |
Morning. You are probably lucky to not still be holding on to it when they came after it.
My yard is finally coming into view. We hit 65* yesterday ......60* right now.

My brother and SIL and visiting their son in Colorado. He will not be mowing for a while. They got another 6 inches the other night. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1681223708.jpg This is my nephews back yard where my brother and SIL are parked in their motorhome. That is my vision of horrible! He is clearing the snow up to his gate. |
That is way to much non fluffy white crap to have around.
My nephew just loves that crap. He has two snowmobiles and loves playing with them. He rides with a team from the National Forest service looking for avalanche dangers. All top pros and they go into some dangerous areas. He has a avalanche "life vest" gizmo that inflates and starts a radio signal if he is thrown from the snowmobile or in an avalanche.
I prefer to mow yards instead of deal with snow. |
Grass generally won't bury you.
Yea, and I have never had to scrape grass off of my car or been stuck in the grass on the roads.
I am happy to see it off in the distance looking pretty on mountain tops. I just don't want it to ever again come visit me! |
Morning all. Should be a light day. Three more to go then off for 10.
That sounds like a good work schedule!
I wish it was every week but they make me take PTO to do it.
A power take off?
What is a PTO in your reference. I doubt they are making you add a power take off to your vehicle. |
