don't work to hard. I hope others will come to work and help out.

We have a small operation here. Just two full time guys, and the pilot is part time. I am 50% of the full time work force here. With all this snow and ice the airplane is grounded. We can't get the hangar doors open in weather like this.

This looks like something out of a science fiction story.

Kinda creapy.

This is the path I dug to get up to our building. This is not the deapest part of the drift. It is over 24 inches in places.

That is my El Camino in the background.

ha ha. Just what I was thinking, too. Spontaneous combustion: the mark of a true Ferrari.

well, i have been doing some mushroom projects. oyster mushrooms are colonizing and new jars are started. shiitake mushroom cloning is about to begin.

it is much warmer today, thank you. above 30F. i took ingrid out for a spirited drive. she is scarey fast.

Porsche-poor 02-03-2011 03:13 PM

so not only do you harass people to breathe at work your a closet mushroom farmer aka keep them in the dark and feed them ......

nynor 02-03-2011 03:20 PM

pretty much. its been awhile since i grew edible mushrooms, but its been entertaining me, again, for a month now. i think i'll stick with it.

Porsche-poor 02-03-2011 03:25 PM

Sounds like fun, but I only have a green thumb if its painted. I can pretty much kill everything.

What a joke. Management in my complex fixed some asphalt issues with concrete about 9 months ago. Of course, it started to crack and come up within a couple of months. What's the maintenance guy doing? Filling it with concrete again and it looks way to watered down, plus, no rebar or even simple chicken wire to help hold the 'crete together. I bet it just cost more now to do the quick fix, rather than just do it the right way.
