Time for Sid to go to work...

GH85Carrera 02-11-2011 09:17 AM

Stijn!!

I bet he would work on either or both of them.

LOL!

Damn this posting hot chicks on Friday is really picking up!! Good work guys!!

On the downside, I had to mess with my Casio G-shock, now it's broken..... Doesn't receive the radio signal to set the time anymore....
Luckily I recently purchased a new one as back up.
Didn't think I would need it so soon.... :( Damn...
I'll go to the shop tomorrow and see if I can get it fixed under warranty. It's less than a year old and I ain't saying I fiddled with it...
(I bought it on Ebay but I assume the Casio warranty is international... otherwise I need to buy another back up G-shock)

Pete, should be somewhere in September.
One week in the Boston area and one week of travelling around, that's what we're aiming for.
September is still a long time away, so nothing is certain yet, though.

I'm so friggin' awesome!

I repaired the watch I broke. Saved me some money, wheeeee!!
(note to self, don't open the watches just for fun, if it ain't broke, it does not need fixin')

GH85Carrera 02-11-2011 01:03 PM

Watch repair is usually best left to those with very small tools, and good eyes.

Geronimo '74 02-11-2011 01:16 PM

My tool is not small, it is normal size, thank you. My eye sight is deteriorating a bit.... :D

Welcome to friday evening guys

G-Man if your travels bring you south, let me know. I have room and know some great roads. I also have several running Porches so you can remember what it is like to drive one.

We'll start with a group of 6 or 7 the first week. We'll be visiting some friends over there.
After the first week, two of us will stay longer, as long as possible, about two weeks longer.

Nothing has been planned yet, but one thing is sure, wherever the trip takes us, I'll be visiting Pelicans whenever possible!

More fun with printers. Last week I set one up as a personal printer via USB, asked if anyone else is going to use it. "Nope". Well, now I'm setting it up as a network printer, so everyone can use it.

slodave 02-11-2011 05:04 PM

haven't you done something like this before, while hammered?

life lesson: don't move furniture around your house while hammered.

worst part was driving myself to the hospital (which I had no idea where it was) using the clutch with a foot missing a big toe.

I've broken a lot of bones and had some nice blade wounds before, but this was by far the most painful thing I've experience.

All is well now. Staving off infection is my only concern. Plus I get to stay at home and take some much needed vacation from work.
