Blech...
Autocross was fun, I finished my last run as the really heavy moisture started..... I swapped ends once too... :D |
swapping ends is fun:
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1300070249.jpg i made those marks, about 120 feet worth, swapped ends at about 70 MPH autocrossing. |
nynor you do that on purpose?
nope. not at all. i was having a VERY fast run up to the point where things got hinky.
I got a speeding ticket after a day of swapping ends at our AX. 68 in a 55. That sucks. Flow of traffic is pretty much 70 on that freeway, even when the limit goes down - not that I knew it did.
it is interesting to note how many LEO's check out our AX events.
This was not near the event. Had Noah930 not switched places with me a little before that, he would have been nailed. I was leading most of the way home.
We have a cop in the PCA, and one of our other regulars is a cop too...
Is alarick going to pay part of the ticket? It was his fault... ;) |

Fk Mondays |
Morning. No, Fk Sunday.
Morning guys. I see Dave is trying to be like me (only slower)
Morning Rick. Naw, I just like throwing money out the window and having to be extra careful for the next 16 months.
Yeah last year I got nailed twice. I was lucky, Hagerty didn't pull my driving record for the year or they would have dropped the coverage on Lanna. I got nailed for 22 over and 18 over. The 85 over they never caught me. :D

the seller assures me they're staight and true. 1500 bucks is cheap? Then I guess I made a good deal. (center caps are missing though) Rick, you're early and good morning! |
Morning G, we suffered a time change this weekend, I am on time, but an hour earlier. They need to stop messing with the whole time continuum thing..........................

Last time I had Lanna out for an autoX I had RA1's on the back and ES100's up front. That is a good way to NEVER have the back end come around. It is also a very good way to NEVER turn.
I think I know that... Last ax, fronts corded, RA-1's in the rear doing their job, turn to the left... Nope, straight we go...
