what's wrong with the shrooms?
Home grown shrooms and snow of any kind are an acquired taste. I hope to never be close to snow again until I go to some mountain top and visit the stuff.
home grown? LOL! these are cloned from grocery store oyster mushrooms. if anything, they'll be better and fresher.
Never liked them as a kid and the college experience solidified that.
Ahhhhhhhhhhh 75 deg, no humidity, top down, and nothing but twisted back roads on the way home. I needed that
Show off.
I did a little of that. :D
I love sautee'd mushrooms. I cook eat it by itself.
Was a nice day here too in the 50's..... tee shirt weather.
Spent the day digging out my trailer and pushing the snow banks back. Was soooo tempted to take the SC out. |
The SC Targa is coming out tomorrow. The roads are still not de salted enough for Lanna to come out and play.

I hope this thread doesn't end up in PARF
Its the texture and the fact I'm eating a fungus. :D my mom loves cooking with them. Always has. Shrug.... Not a fan of snails either... Though I may have eaten one or two as a little kid, but you'd have to ask my mom about that.

Good Evening guys.
I like the standard eating kind of mushrooms from the grocery store. I am way to chicken to try the other shrooms. It is almost bed time. Tomorrow is FRIDAY! |
Glen, I had a great rime experimenting in college and still have fond memories. Unless you are Hunter Thompson, we are all too old to trip anymore. :D
