I am afraid it will turn out like the famous 60 mile cross country skiing competition - Wasa loppet, where they pull you off before finishing if you have not made it far enough before its turning dark..

Its June 1th. They rent the Ring for the whole day exclusively for the participants. I will probably arrive one or two days early to get a few laps before hand and most likely stay a day after. My friend has an apartment close by.

By June 1th I am actually referring to the first day in the month of June, a month that at least in Europe usually is preceded by the month May and superseded by the month July. Does that make any sense to you Americans?

it is June 1st not 1th.....
1st 2nd 3rd 4th .... That was what Dave was referring too.... (hence my joke May 31nd... which should be 31st....)

Ah the white powder. No thanks. The two or three times for me way back when was enough. As with everything else, I 'need' twice as much. No fun. Does numb your mouth pretty good.
