Afternoon guys. What a bad last 24 hours. I retrashed my knee at work, nothing that I need a Dr. for but bad enough to lay me out last night, well my morning was better when my knee popped out of joint and I ended up on the floor. A pot of coffee later and too much Advil has my heart not happy. This getting old crap is not for me.
On a brighter note I have 4th row seats to the Warren Haynes show tonight, he is doing a solo tour and it is supposed to be all blues. I am hoping that Dave Mathews does not pop in for a guest spot, his show finishes up when Warren starts and they are just a few thousand yards apart. I am not a big Dave Mathews fan and I am constantly hearing about him since he lives about 3 miles from me. Why can't I have cool neighbors like David Gilmore?

Stijn!!

I have some cheap tool kits in the Camino all the time. It was not a big ordeal but man I wish I had my drill driver and power screwdriver.

Stijn!!

Yes & no.

Those three switches control lights in three different places and use 3 different breakers as I discovered.

I had no idea she wanted me to do the switch swap so I had no tools or testers with me. She said the circuit breaker was off but I verified it before I touched it. Sparks! Turn off more breakers, no more sparks with the screw driver test.

I sometimes think I should just pack a tool box for MIL trips. I have done everything from replace toilets to hang ceiling fans in a room with no electricity in the area. The insulation in her attic is over two feet deep. Ask how I know!

i cannot stand dave matthews. his music, especially his lyrics. DM sounds like one run on auditory display of trite cliche's.

sorry about your knee. knee and back problems are the worst.

I carry one of the ratcheting multi-tip screw driver things, a pair of needle nose, and a small flash light in my laptop case. Not that I could replace a toilet, but the ceiling fan/switches would be doable.

Stijn!!

When I replaced her toilets I had to haul them up there in the El Camino. I KNEW I had that task to do. I even hauled the old ones back to OKC. I put them in front of my office building and they were gone in no time.

Evening guys.... Went to the city with my folks and picked up a new couch for my apartment. Space has been cramped with the couch and recliner I have had, both of which I have been storing for Nathan. He can have his stuff back now, and the couch I got has double recliners, so it kills two birds with one stone. Fits my decor a little better as well, should last well, and for $49 dollars they sold us fabric protection(warranty) and pretty much say if we scratch, tear, stain, it etc... They will refund the money for 5yrs, including coming and getting it....
