to avoid the extremity of the LSD trip (when used to kill a migraine), just eat a bunch of prozac right after the euphoria hits. problem solved. Quote:

You can drop off the head here in the Hollywood Hills. It's been a popular thing to do, lately.

The cats have been problematic these last days.
Bubba has had enough of Boris attacking, and the mood has been rather violent these last weeks.. I really need spring to come round, so the dynamic duo spends more time outside.. Bubba actually did a good number on Boris the other day , took out a decent chunk of furr off the top of Boris's head.. He may be 8 years old and 4 years older then Boris, but he's definitely still packing heat in his claws. Bubba has great fighting technique, good tactics, he's a thinking fighter and he's much better then Boris on the days he feels like fighting.. Most of the times, he doesn't.. Bubba also makes noise, sounds like he's attacked, under stress, but i've noticed that sometimes he actually pretends, and suckers Boris in for a fight, to make it look like Boris started. So Boris would get kicked out.. But i'm on to him now..amazing manipulation skills by old Bubba. Boris on the other hand he's always game, and when he fights he is relentless and never backs down... peanut brain @ work, as bent as the soviet sickle, and as hard as the hammer that crosses it...

lol! stijn, my cat has a new notch in his ear. i thought he was going to lose the ear, it was so infected. the inside looked like hamburger and, now that it is nearly healed, there are two places where the ear was bitten through. i made the mistake of posting my cat troubles a few months ago (pissed me off enough that i nearly took a pelican vacation), so i didn't share this time. a week of bi-daily doses of tetracycline have done the trick, even though wally wouldn't let me lance either of the HUGE abscesses on his ear (he was pretty pissed off if i messed with it at all, and not about to let himself get wrapped in a bath towel).

Well luckily , Boris has gotten better at fighting, and hasn't had infectious bite wounds for quite some time..
i say luckily cause Boris is the worst patient possible, he violently resists and he's go so much power in that little chassis of his, it's amazing. lying flat on his belly, he can push me up when i put my weight on him, on the table , to hold him down for the Vet even getting stronghold on him, is a spec ops mission.. If i can't get hit on him in one go, while he sleeps, it's not going on him, period. the Vet knows him by name and everytime i call him, first thing he asks "is it Boris or the other one?"

Valium is the accepted anti-anxiety for tripping. But any anti-anxiety med should work.
My stupid dog LIKES the mailman. He brings her treats. If she goes out to the truck at the curb she gets a treat, and if he brings a package to the door she gets a treat. Heck, she likes everyone, but does bark at the door until you open it.

Abcesses in cats is quite common, partcularly the hind quarters. eep According to my brother ( a vet), cats have relatively tough skin and when they are bitten by another cat, the cat's fangs are almost like a needle. The puncture may be small but deep. The outter layer of skin heals over quickly but infection remains deep in tissue ultimately causing an abcess. Our yard cat developed a huge abcess on its haunches...open sores measuring 2x2 inches....nasty.
Solution? Caught cat, rinsed with water as best I could and Adolfs meat tenderizer sprinkled liberally....heald over with no problems in a matter of days. Something about enzymes in the meat tenderizer.

I suspect klonopin could kill a trip in no time. Thia stuff is the mother of all anti-anxiety drugs.

My cats don't fight...with each other. They're brothers. They may not cuddle up with each other anymore, but they're friendly and share a food bowl.
When we take our cats to the vet, it's cute how our cats will hide behind our legs, as if they're looking for us to protect them from whatever's going to happen. Between us and the vet, they'll usually let us do stuff (i.e. take out stitches) without resorting to leather motorcycle gloves or long sleeves.
