I get really peeved when I take time to write a "war and peace" type reply on a thread on PP and when I go to post it, that bl**dy page comes up and says that PP is unavailalbe for maintenance blah blah, geez I hate that!

Must say I have been very amused by the Mum stories, being one myself. However, I can honestly say that I am a very mild mannered Mum compared to some of yours. I don't whack my children with a Tea Towel, belt or anything else, I have a voice that is enough to send them packing! Not yelling mind you, just stern and controlled, it's the military training me thinks. I am a grumpy old warrant officer in the Aussie Air Force, and I can scare most people with the voice, nothing else necessary.

But most Mums don't work on cars! I do also cook, crochet, quilt, paint, sew, knit, all of that girlie stuff, but like working on the cars the most. Must be the man influence in the household, no daughters just sons, so went with the flow!!

The kids have been using up the bandwidth again, we have a 50gig monthly allowance, and they have used it up, again... it then slows to about 4kb a minute, can't get anything to even load. AAAhhhh, I hate that, so I only have to wait until tomorrow night for the month to start again, and have decent internet speed.

I remember back in the day, when if you had a gig monthly allowance you didn't use it up, then we went to around 5 a month, when we came home from France in 2009 we went to 12 then 24, and now 50, and that's not enough anymore. They must eat it!!! As long as they aren't downloading porn, lol.

Anyway, time for bed
cheers

Sid, I love the flying people vid.

That would be a cool toy. It really needs to be flown in an area like that video, where strangers will see them but not hear them or know what they are.

We received a phone call from an engineering firm that had a local phone number. We had never heard of the company before but that is not unusual. We are working on a bid for a little project for them. We were curious about the company so we Google them.

They are an 11 Billion per year company with 60,000 employees!!

They have an OKC office as well as offices all over the place. That got our attention. Hopefully they will have some bigger projects for us.

closed last years club competition at a 151 average (20 x 20 shots @ 25 meter) , not bad considering it was my first year shooting pistol.
Was doing 130 in the beginning and in the end was doing 170 .. with various club .22 pistols.

This year i'm doing just the .45
with the added complexity that i'm also learning to reload.. steep learning curve
Did my first set today, that was a 130.. kinda hoped i would have done better, but let's see how it goes throughout the year.
