Ok, closer to useful. One thing I learned with all the crap last year is perspective. Step back and view things from the outside. When I finally did, after making a mess, I saw that there really wasn't the base of a good relationship there. It was all me giving until it hurt and her taking. Just make sure that your situation isn't similar before putting in to much effort towards damage control.

well ...., well...., I have been missing out on some pretty interesting conversations, girlfirends, makeup, art, colonoscopies, cancer, hangovers, texting faux pas, think that's about all. Sounds like a CWA meeting, (Country Womens Association) a club of old dears in Aust, you probably have something similar where ever you life.

Today I have been busy reupholstering Miss Daisy's Dash Pad. Haven't put it in yet though, have to let all the glue set first.

For all of you oldies out there, harden up, I take nothing, no pills, nada, and I am almost 56, so I think I am doing all right so far, of course we do all of the usual "preventative" maintenance, same as you do for a car lol. Better to do preventative maintenance, visit the Doc, to get a 10K oil and lube before anything drastic starts squeaking or dripping! But fit as a mallee bull (or cow, that doesn't sound too good though), ( fit as a mallee bull is a common Australian coloquialism)

Isn't that pretty, just have to wait for the glue to set, and maybe put it back in next weekend.

It wasn't turns out I was misinterpreting annoyed for mad... If I had just shut up the first time she tried to get me to, I would have been a lot better off. Basically I become more bull headed when drunk, and I was bound and determined to fix things last night, which only made it worse.

Yes, Joe and I'm not willing to get into specifics in public, but we have both discussed this a lot. This isn't a one way thing, or neither of us would be willing to try. We've both looked at every angle, as we are both very analytical people. We are being very cautious still, and I hope it works out well...
