I was kinda surprised as well. Especially considering the car. I've run into a billionaire at the dump a few times.....he keeps a very low profile and us very down to earth..
Drives a 60s convertible rustang everywhere and always wears jeans.

Do you have to haul your own trash?
I have been to the dump only once in my lifetime.

Why is your dump such a busy place?

i do like my 951. in its current configuration, it is scarey fast. i just took it up parleys canyon. 105MPH from 70MPH in the time it took to pass a left-lane-hogger. madness.

i let my friend take it for a spin today. he came back and said, 'i was going 70 in fourth, punched it, shifted to fifth, looked down and realized i was already doing over 100!'

that said, i really really like the '96 911 carrera 4S widebody. someday, i'd like to own one of those. that might be my favorite body on the 911.

although the pictures that max posted of his white 911 made me look twice. that is a beautiful machine.

I still remember driving a brand new 944 Turbo S.

It did not have 100 miles on it. I ran through the 1st three gears and I was blown away. That was the first car I ever drove that had ABS.

I just love that whrrrrr of a 911 flat 6. After 16 years of ownership I still grin when I drive it.

Issue with inspection procedures and the trooper on the other end of the phone was dead wrong, so I started quoting the procedures and was cut off. I told them to get their head out of their ass and I hung up. About 30 mins later in rolls a state cruiser with a rather pissed off trooper in it. He was not polite and neither was I. It ended when I dropped the manual at his feet and told him to bone up on procedures and coma back and see me, after which I produced my inspection license and asked if he had one. He said no he didn't, to which I replied he is not qualified to have the conversation with me, and dismissed him. He threatened to arrest me and I dared him. Informed him I would own him and with the subject matter I am considered an expert in the eyes of the court and he was not. I held my hands out and told him, ball is in his court. He stomped out. I doubt it is over. Tomorrow should be interesting.
